It's easier than you think . 70 % have an arc. They start off good, then start to hate the job .( You have to lie to them to keep them ) Hopefully, it lasts a few years, and then you replace them . 10 % only around for a few weeks or months. 10 % are dummies that will make you rich . 10% no idea what they are doing. 80% of them are alcohol - drug addicts . 😂 and when you run an ad, you get 70-150 applications easy to find new guys

I’ve heard shop talk at work and it seems like the US doesn’t have a nationally accepted ticket for refrigeration mechanics like Canada. We go do the 8 week chunks of schooling at 2000 hours of work experience, 4 blocks of that before getting your Red Seal (nationally accepted trade ticket). Is the states similar? I heard stories about labourers being trained in house to do basic electrical or mundane apprentice tasks to cut down on pay. Like residential construction guys hiring labourers only teaching them to wire up a furnace/install a condensing unit, paying them less. Up here in Canuckistan we are among the highest paid trade according the McCleans magazine next to elevator techs, but schooling involves so much engineering and electrical

This channel has a curious way of naming things. This guy may call himself a handyman, but that's not a handyman. This guy is a remodeling contractor. If you do full bathroom overhauls, replace drywall, paint, repair carpentry, install cabinets, masonry, etc... that's a level higher than handyman. A handyman is someone who knows a little about a lot of things and can do basic repairs or small, odd jobs. Fix a running toilet, change a light switch or outlet, hang a ceiling fan or change a light fixture for a new style, paint touch up, repair a hole in the drywall, replace a washer in a faucet, powerwash, hang Christmas lights, change batteries, filters, install new door locks or hardware, etc.

Not the channel’s name. It’s his business name.

@@TheTradeTalks2.0 right, I meant "within" the channel's discussions. He brands himself "Handyman", but while he may be successful and have plenty of customers, if I saw Handyman, I don't think of the work he does.

There is a popular KZbinr called The Handyman. He doesn't call himself a handyman, he is a remodeling contractor. In my opinion a handyman is an off the books home improvement contractor. One you call for tiny jobs, the other is who you call if you want a professional guarantee .

People just love to cry and complain. “He’s no handyman” 😭 👶🏼🍼30+ employees and 20 something trucks. Drywall repair, painting, and other home repairs sounds like a handyman. 🤷🏼 and they do remodels, so what!? Do nothing hatets are going to hate. Tons of great content, love the video!!

@@_stephencapps only negative people with a chip on their shoulder interpret legitimate issues with the meaning of words as "hater". Are you paranoid? Where do you see me hating on his work or his company? "Cry and complain"? Where? Who?
