No joke, from my testing: if you press and hold the Block at ANY point from the start of the grab animation to even a good half second into ACTUALLY being grabbed, you tech the grab. Basically, if you see it happen and you press Block, you've teched it.

most defensive options seem alot better, blocking in general is available way faster from wakeup and in almost all situations than bt3, plus techings easier, the only thing they nerfed is the fact that the side dashes would glitch around terrain before and they dont anymore which is fair, and thats also an offensive move anyway.

Most likely because it's easier do now- which is fair, but now Androids are gonna be starving for Ki since it was such a good option for them.
