You spent the night near the little town of Virgil it seems. Too bad, we could have arranged a tour of the area with my company. But your visa here was running out as you said. Best of luck travelling in the states, you will have fun. American Falls is not crappy. Niagara Falls Ontario and Niagara Falls New York both help each other where tourism is concerned.

Québec has been creative with Ice Cider or ?ever. The Okanagan in BC has a good climate for vintners too.

Your first stop in this video on Ridge Road is like 5 minutes from my house. I take my bikes (motor and pedal) down that way all the time. I tend to end up riding past the falls several times a year before heading along the Niagara Parkway to Fort Erie.

I as well am 10 minutes from Ridge Rd. and also do the Niagara Parkway several times each year. Quite interesting the number of Niagara Region locals that follow Kinga.

It was great to see such a famous world traveler coming through my neck of the woods. You rode streets and roads that I have been many times so it was all very familiar for me. Remember that Canada is huge, and the eastern provinces are only a small part of it. Maybe next time you come to Canada you will head west. Safe journey down into the States Kinga!

I ride those roads as well, often. Have been to western Canada also. Bought my last bike in Calgary and drove it back to West Lincoln (Niagara). I agree. A must trip to experience

How do you find riding on the steel mesh on the bridges, Kinga? I didn't like it much in a car. Does it affect the bike's stability at all?
@123456bpb2 жыл бұрын
Yes to the Steel Mesh Bridge Deck experience. It feels like you may not get to the far side. Very weird.
@ryancraig27952 жыл бұрын
It depends a lot on the tires. My bikes with wider street rubber barely notice the grate on that bridge. My KLX250 with semi-knobbies was really squirrelly on it. My car actually moves around on it more than my RT does.
@Rockdoc21742 жыл бұрын
@@ryancraig2795 bikes vary a lot, of course. My BMW K1200LT was almost frighteningly unstable on uneven roads, such as the cobbled areas in some Spanish and Portuguese towns. The bars wobbled like they were coming off! My current ride, a Kawasaki Versys 1000, is much better in that regard.

Interesting to see how your visa works out, my wife and I had to get our 6 month visa before we left the UK (It lasted 10 years) . Funnily we had hassle at the very border you are about to cross, the USA Customs guy wasn't very helpful!

The Canadian side is very touristy just like Blackpool in the UK, I thought the US side by comparison was quite run down. Don't miss out the fireworks at night well worth a watch. That said the casino on the US side does a great breakfast for not much money.
@garyworokevich25242 жыл бұрын
The American side is still recovering from job losses. Same thing happened on the Canadian side, rebounded faster with the addition of casinos...Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino....and the construction of many hotels. Seneca Casino states side is a good experience.
