I got so scared when I saw Julien give Peach some of the mashed potatoes because I thought garlic was toxic for dogs but I googled it and apparently it's only large amounts of garlic that are really a problem (like half to multiple cloves depending on the size of the dog.) I recently found a really good recipe that doesn't have milk/sour cream/butter. You boil the potatoes, skinned and cut into cubes but you put the potato peels in with them? Which apparently gives the water more flavor. When you mash the potatoes you add some of the water, some olive oil and salt. And that's it. And it comes out so good! I'm not a mash potato fan but I really liked it

I always put a ton of seasonings and spices in mine! Usually paprika, nuritrtional yeast, sage and rosemary, trader joes umami, etc..whatever one's you like! But it reaally makes it so much better. I highly recommend mixing some pesto in too :)
