I'm sorry Nebby I'm deducting points from this one because the sheep actually look like real life sheep rather than complete abominations. Vastly Overpopulated Village and its approximately 1,000,000 (edit: post-gauntlet pop. appx. 999,999) inhabitants was honestly the highlight. Overall: 8.5/10

The creator of LB Photo Realism here :) This is such a mess of a video and I love it 😂 Also mixing fully themed packs is a crime, please don't do that 😅 And having a few years of experience in 3D (mostly archviz), I can say that the movie's overworld looks shit, the art direction is god awful

the thing is the minecraft movie would still look *better* than it is now if they went for complete realism, but they go for a compromise between that and stylizing it like the original. so we end up with really creepy features like huge, glossy eyes with square pupils and really ill-fitting bodies that vaguely look like the vanilla models but... lumpier? that and the multiple broken perspective shots show vfx is getting rushed to release-- wait why do you have the infinity stones
