@@mysticat I've never learned how marker entities work, I tried using them once to replace armor stands and decided to just stick with armor stands

@@Xhepyxopila Markers entities basically does a better job when it comes to placement. Where you wouldve spawned an armor stand in the older updates, you can simply use a marker that will do the same things. For data storage however the best way to replace armor stand would be using the storage components of the /data or /execute store. And like Mysticat said, markers have way less components to render/update so on larger scales project, it simply is more optimized and cleaner to use them. :)

5:58 Okey, I know this might seem like a silly thing to obsess over, but I genuinely really appreciate this inclusion. Every time I see some moving platform in a game, it pisses me off to no end that jumping while on the platform doesn't end up accounting for the movement of the platform. It just jumps vertically relative to the non-moving objects. But as every good physicist knows, jumping on an object moving at constant velocity will carry over that horizontal motion into the jump, allowing you to land exactly where you were on the platform. The only way you would fall off is if the object were accelerating. Then again, I guess you can also literally move while falling in games, so I know they're not supposed to be super realistic. That being said, however, I feel like both these flaws in the physics of EVERY GAME EVER have impacted the way people have understood physics for almost 4 generations now! Why do they ALL HAVE IT!?! And it's baked in our minds now! Nothing else makes sense! AAAAgaaaghh! Anyways! This is getting a bit out of hand, so I'm just going to say again. Thank you for making this inclusion. It is great to finally see some actual physics in one of these accursed platforms after years of playing Mario games.
