Anyone who has tried to accurately recreate physical tools in digital programs knows how HARD it is to get the tiniest details right. Seeing someone as obsessive over their tools as you are actually manage to do so is crazy impressive! I wish all brush pack creators took the task as seriously. Beautiful human being you, thank you so much for this lovely gift- I've been dying for some specific pens, some micron or ballpoints that FEEL like pens, stable line weight, dense but not perfectly smooth. I also wanted an ink brush that feels accurate. You are so generous thank you 🙏 Also, filming the art process is terrible Also also, I also feel the disconnect between my traditional and digital art. Though lately I feel like because I realized I prefer sketchy pen drawing over "finishing" my linework, I've begun to bridge that gap. My tools match more my traditional style rather than trying to push myself to use wild line weight brushes

This is so cool! 10 years ago I tried to master digital drawing after traditional drawing. It felt very different, the colors didn't mix right, the texture of the brushes wasn't quite right, and it turned out very poorly. I quit painting several times because of this. For a long time. For years I tried to do something similar, but nothing worked. A couple of years ago I found Rebelle 7, a program specifically for painters, and it's just something! It's like traditional painting, almost no differences. The most valuable thing for me that it has that other programs don't is the proper mixing of colors. In addition to the various traditional materials, you can even adjust the amount of moisture on the brush or paper and the tilt of the canvas. This is not an advertisement, but you can try it for free p.s. Thanks for the brushes, I will definitely be painting with them. Thanks to you these are my favorite materials as well

I've heard of Rebelle 7 before and it looks interesting. Is it made by the same people that did Corel Painter-X back in the day? That used to have the most realistic brush strokes and paint mixing back in the day. It also allowed you to adjust moisture level of the paint.

tbh, I actually prefer the convert brightness to transparency feature of CSP over other apps. I also use Photoshop and I always struggle with the fine edges/halo around my lines. idk what magic CSP uses but it's much better and faster. The way I have to it in Ps is making a new selection based on the brightess of the img by switching to the channels tab and ctrl + clicking the thumbnais of the RGB, but then I still have to tweak things in the layer mask. A friend of mine uses ibis paint on their phone/tablet and that apparently also has that feature and works great, too.
