How many minutes do you usually boil the figure to easily take off the adhesive? Is it in the point where the plastic had softened?

It’s really trial and error but usually like 5 minutes? The more flexible the plastic the better!

looks great, just the abs looks a bit off compare to the skin on other parts. the only repaint figure i have done poorly was a gxmateria goku launching kamehameha. i try to do the kaioken version exclusive for japan. with the normal version that usa got. the japan figure cost like $165 and the usa version is $30 , and its just a color difference

How do you boil the figure without melting it? I’m trying to start repainting figures myself and I can’t seem to understand the boiling part

Good question! Make sure it’s boiled-hot water, NOT while it’s boiling!! Turn the fire off and remove the pot from that burner. Then put the figure in and cover it to keep the water hot. Keep the figure in there for a few minutes until it gets pliable. Then pull the figure apart! Just be careful not to rip the pegs off. Hope that helps!

IF* we'll ever see a figure of ultra ego vegeta. DBS already wasn't great and certainly wasn't the best of dragon ball having tons of standout problems, but now theres talks that the Moro and Granolah arcs won't ever be animated, because Toei doesn't like dealing with Toyotarou, whereas they enjoyed taking input from Toriyama. Bandai has the rights to the games and toys. Bandai has never put anything in the games that wasn't animated. Even GT usually gets into the games! If Ultra Ego Vegeta gets animated, good for him. He deserves that power up almost as much as Yamcha deserves to be relevant again.
