Thanks! I did try using water to help smooth out but maybe a little too late. Do you use water when the mix is still ‘fresh’?

Yeah you do also isopropyl alcohol works the same way use either your fingers or a brush with water but definitely a brush with alcohol

@@jons.hobbyroom idk if anyone already added this, but give the mixture 2-3 minutes after being mixed before you work with it, that helps it hold together.

The reason why may 9th is goku day is because go means 5 and ku means 9 for those who don’t know

I can never find the image again when I want to talk about it. But a few years back on Twitter someone suggested Vegetto if Goku was wearing the 59 jacket and Vegeta was wearing the pink shirt. And the fan art from that has been so freaking cool. My fave had a shot from behind where the jacket Saud "Bad Men" so uh...yeah I still want to see you do Post Boy Piccolo, and Pink Shirt Vegeta cause this video was great. But if I can only have one more casual outfit video I REALLY want Bad Men Vegetto!

Thank you for your repaint videos! I've been real addicted to purchasing Dragon Ball Z figures from Ali Express and repainting them, I'm so grateful for the trick to pop them in boiling water! This is going to save my fingers so much pain moving forward!

It would be really cool to see you try to make an entire headsculpt for an S.H.Figuarts figure. Namely: a SSJ2 head for the new Gohan that's dropping in June! (Could also be any figure, of course!) Granted, it would take a lot of time, but I think you'd be able to pull it off amazingly. Happy (late) Goku Day!

I've been mostly using miliput since getting rid of my apoxie sculpt. It's pretty much perfect and if you need a more flexy putty procreate putty is also a great alternative

Love this! I’ve heard of milliput so I will look into it. How flexible is procreate putty? Can it be used for a cape or something?

@@jons.hobbyroom procreate can be mixed to different levels of flex by doing more or less of parts a & b and the packet has all of the amounts listed on it

@@jons.hobbyroomapparently I never sent the message I meant to. The procreate can be used for things like capes but you'd definitely wanna have some kind of armature either wire or a mesh to give it some body

Also with miliput you can speed up the drying time a heap by putting the sculpted piece in hot water for about 15-20 minutes 2-3 times

This turned out great, and i'm sure you know this by now but Aves Apoxie is great but you have to make sure your tools are wet when using it, vaseline works really well with it too
