I MADE MY SISTER A DRESS ♥️

Beautiful dress. I have told this few times before but will say again. Your neatness and quality in sewing is the main reason I follow you. Oh and your cute doggie. Great work! Did you consider sewing the sleeve to just the finish fabric and tucking it between the finish fabric and the lining? The lining could have been hand stitched closed. All raw edges would have been enclosed. Or maybe you did that and I didn't see it.

This took me a little over a day because I sew a lot slower when I'm filming, but this can definitely be done in a day! And thank you! 💕

I'm currently using the singer heavy duty machine which is pretty basic but I really like it and I also use an overlocker to finish the raw edges but it's not necessary! You can use a zig zag stitch as well! Let me know if you have any questions! 💕

Patterns are usually sized with a lot of ease. The actual size it will be with the ease is on the pattern tissue paper

I am about to make this dress, and I am cutting according to measurements. You indicated, though, the pattern runs large. Are the measurements on the pattern large meaning I should go down a size?

Yes, based on my experience with this pattern, I would go down one size. But I would also make a mock up first just to be safe!
