I believe, that you can use the datapad more the once on a saber. I don't know if that is just for proffie, but I can sotter more than one wire to the same pad many times over.

Proffieboards support sub-blades, which basically has the config tell the pixel strip (or pixels wired in series) to divide up into multiple virtual blades. ie 10 accent pixels, five hilt side PCB pixels, and a strip of 120 in a blade wired in series, that it's not one long 135 pixel strip, but that the first 10 pixels are a blade, the next 5 are a blade, and the last 120 are a blade.
