Watch all videos - kzbin.info/aero/PLmz2QxbXLPGQaN9z12hwoxxqQz4YvIf87 English description is in the description box මඩු මාලු කියන්නෙ ඉතින් මඩු මාලු රස බලපු කෙනෙක් විතරක්ම දන්න කතාවක්. මඩු මාලු ගැන වගේම තමයි මඩු කරවල ගැන කියන්න තියෙන්නෙත්. කලුවට, බොරේට මඩු මාලු හදා ගත්තම දැනෙන රසට වගේම මඩු කරවල කෑල්ලක් ටිකක් කරවෙන්න තෙල් දාලගත්තම දැනෙන රසටත් කවුරු හරි වහ වැටෙනව කියන එක පුදුමයක් නම් නෙවෙයි. හැබැයි ඔය රසවල් ගැන දන්න කාටහරි මඩු මාලු රසයි මඩු කරවල රසයි අතර මැද රසක් ගැන කිව්වොත් මොනවා හිතෙයිද? අත්තමයි ලොකු අම්මයි දෙන්නම අමු මාලු දුම් ගස්සන හැටි මම පොඩි කාලෙ ඉඳලම දැකල තියෙනවා. මෝර මාලු, මඩු මාලු වගේ මුහුදු මාලු වගේම වැව් මාලු, වෙල් මාලුත් මේ විදියටම දුම් ගහනවා. වැව්වල මිරිදිය මාලු කර්මාන්ත කරන ගොඩක් පැතිවල දුම් කරවල කියන විකුණන්නෙ මේ විදියට දුම් ගහල වේලපු කරවල තමයි. ඒවා අව්වෙ වේලල ගන්න කරවල වලට වැඩිය රසින් වෙනස්. ඒ වගේම තමන් පරිබෝජනය කරන්න කැමති විදියෙ හැටියට දුම් මාලු වලට දුම් ගහන කාලයත් වෙනස් කරගන්න වෙනවා. හැබැයි එතකොට දුම් මාලු තියාගන්න පුලුවන් වෙන දවස්ගානත් වෙනස් වෙනවා. ලොකු තාත්තා ලොකු මඩු මාලුවෙක්ම මීගමු ලෙල්ලමෙන් (ලෙල්ලම - මීගමු කලපුව අසල පිහිටා ඇති විශාලතම මාලු වෙළදසැල) ගෙනල්ල සුද්ද කරල පෙතිත් කපල මල්ලිගෙ අතේ එවල තිබුනා දුම් ගස්සල දෙන්න කියල. වෙනද නම් ලොකු අම්මයි මමයි දෙන්නම තමයි ඔය වැඩේ කරන්නෙ. වැහි බර දවස් නිසා වැහි වලට අහුවෙලද මන්ද ලොකු අම්ම තරමක් අසනීපෙන් ඉන්නෙ, මේ වැඩේ කරන ටිකට වැස්ස තුරල් කරල තිබුන නිසා හොඳයි. නැත්නම් එලියෙ ලිප් බැඳල හරිම කරදයක් තමයි වෙන්නෙ. ඉතින් ලොකු අම්මලයි පංගුවත් එක්කම මම මඩු මාලු දුම් ගැස්සුවා. වියළි කුරුඳු දර කෑලියි, අමු කුරුඳු කොලයි නිසා මතුවෙන දුමෙන් කරවල වලට කුරුඳු රසයි සුවඳයි එකතු වෙනව වගේම සීනියි තේ කොලයි වලින් මතුවෙන දුම නිසා කැරමල් රසකුත් එකතු වෙනවා. සමහර දවස් වලට දුම් ගහද්දි හාලුත් දානවා. ඒත් ඉතින් මේ දවස්වල හාල් ඇටයක් වුනත් වටිනවනෙ. ඒ නිසා හාල් දැම්මෙ නෑ. එක දිගටෝම වහින වැස්ස නිසා අත්තම්මත් වැඩිය කුස්සිය පැත්තට එන්නෙ යන්නෙ නෑ. ඒ නිසා අපි වේල පහින් රෑට කෑවා. වේලගත්ත දුම් මාලු, වම්බටුයි තක්කාලියි එක්ක මිරිස් සැරට තෙල් දාල ගත්තම පුදුම රසක් එන්නෙ. මාලු මිරිස් කිරි හොද්දයි ළූණු සම්බොලෙයි එක්ක දුම්මාලු කට ගැස්ම එකතු වුනාම දිව්‍ය ලෝක රසක් දැනෙන්නෙ. පහුවෙනිද උදේම මම රතු කැකුලු හාල් පිටි වලින් ඉඳිආප්ප තැම්බුවා. වැහි දවස් නිසා මල්ලිත් ළහිරු මල්ලිත් කතා කරගෙන එලවලු කොරටුව තියෙන ඕවිටි කෑල්ලෙ කානු දාන්න යන්න ලෑස්තිය. මම දුම් මාලු කෑලි පොඩි වෙන්න කෑලි කඩල හුමාලෙන් තම්බගෙන ඉඳිආප්ප කන්න පොල් මැල්ලුමටම ඒ දුම්මාලු එකතු කරල ගත්තා. රතු ඉඳි ආප්පයි දුම්මාලු පොල් මැල්ලුමයි එක්ක කෙහෙල් කොලේ මුල බැඳල දුන්න. මේං එතකොටනෙ වැඩේ දැක්කෙ, කස කසා ඇට දාපු තැඹිලි වතුර එකකට අමු මිරිස් කරලුත් දාගෙන මල්ලි අමුතු පහේ බීම එකක් හදාගෙන තියෙන හැටි. ලහිරු මල්ලිට හින්ද හොඳයි ඉතින්. හැබැයි ඉතින් අත්දැකීමෙන් කියන්නෙ, අමුමිරිස් රස ගෑවුනු මල්ලි හදන සමහර බීම ජාති නම් හරිම රසයි. හැබැයි ඉතින් අදත් ඕක හදාගෙන එදා අන්නාසි වත්තෙ වගේ මොන විදියෙ හොර වැඩකට ලෑස්ති වෙනවද දන්නෙ නෑ. ආදරයෙන් නදී 💜

These recipes of traditionally smoked stingrays are very new and looked awesome. The taste must be heavenly and combined with fried eggplant slices and tomatoes made my tastebuds go yearning to really try out the dish. Of course the red rice string hoppers with the steamed flaked fish and yellowed grated coconut reminded me of the Keralian Thoran which my mom used to make. Oh! Cannot forget your brother’s way of making out of the world exquisite drinks which looked very yummy 😋
