Dude this is absolutely awesome. Lachie you have out done yourself, and created something even more epic than GW has ever envisioned. You could have 20 people battling, different forces, in different areas, at the same time, with you running a comentary of whats happening through out. Words fail me attempting to describe the epicness of this mega structure, and to think you can actually game on it, blows my mind. So looking forward to seeing the two additional trenches and what that looks like. I would love to command a flight of Maurauders, Valkrie, Avengers and other Imperial flyers, around the trenches, supporting the Emperors troops where needed. You sir, totally rock!

This is a great idea. Make videos then when you get to a critical mass of awesome, repackage them to a long-form video that we can listen to while hobbying! I love it. And having it in the background creates great motivation while we are toiling away on our own projects. As opposed to having to find video 4 of the build and losing the will to do so, it just keeps going. :).

The massive stones in the palace foundations in Epic scale make the neolithic monoliths of BAALBEK look like pebbles. Even in 28mm the would match them.

Hey there Buddy excellent work so far , really impressive !!! just an idea for some greebles , where will the storm eagles and thunder hawks be landing ? can`t help but feel like some landing pads built into the walls would help your mission to break up flat surfaces and i can`t help but feel like it would make sense in such a massive warzone/cityscape as you`re building they wouldn`t even have to be connected to anything . can`t wait to see where you end up with this project , give your self a massive pat on the back and much love from the UK

I think if I ever did a warhammer build I'd actually use warhammer and starwars scenery elements for a multi purpose scifi build with a dystopia at the base and a utopia on top. Cyberpunk somewhere in the middle, divide the upper area into sailpunk and solarpunk etc... Because I run cypher system games I'd have to have random artifacts of fallen worlds scattered everywhere. Damn I wish I had the space to build this thing, it sounds beautiful.

Hey Zorb dude how do. A vacuum form flexible coating (like-surface) is the only concept that would make this imperial fortress on Terra worthy of being a viable game board in my mighty yet uncompromising opinion. How about the fibre glass technique where you would ‘instead’ place the thinnest material you could find (like silk) over the finished product and stipple in with a thin epoxy! Has to be age and drop proof.. ☮️
