Paused halfway through to comment, amazing job. The first building was top notch crafting (and I really enjoyed the crazy research behind it!), both the gate and the printed buildings look awesome, and they help tremendously with the huge amount of work needed to actually make such a project. I was so excited when you primed them :D and it really paid off, the city looks gorgeous.
@sandycultofthesun6 ай бұрын
in light of having organised all your previous builds into playlists and stuff, it could be cool to do a "Zorpazorp, the story so far" video, where you show off each build in chronological order and talk a little about it (hardest parts, inspo etc, what u love about them) as well as some of your history . It catches new people up and will get them more interested in going back to the old builds, and acts as a refresher to long fans, and would make a good video visually, and also, the work is done, it's just editing and a voice over of previous footage. just an idea tho. you're a legend mate

One thing that always blows me away with your work is your attention to the source material. It'd be _so much easier_ for you to just build something that looked cool and felt like Minas Tirith, but it's _so much more awesome_ that you go in and scour through the footage. This IS Minas Tirith. I'm sure Tolkien and Jackson would be blown away by this.

I do think finishing blocks is the best way to go. Write down the ideas you have for new blocks and such but finish one area at a time instead of building all of it before moving on to painting. It'll probably be more satisfying for you as it'll be a finished part and for us as we get some proper pay off from following the serie

Really like having the videos completing specific chunks! Makes watching a full video a really fun pay off. You get to see something progress but also wrap up. There's no way I could ever hope to be able to build anything close to a mega board, but maybe one day I could hope to make something like one of the sections. It sort of shows a project I might be able to achieve, which also encourages me to keep watching to see the skills you show in the next vid.

I think the best strategy is the "urban combat" strategy: Block by bloody block. It sets realistic, measureable, and attainable goals that will also make the completionist chemicals in your brain go "brrr." It also helps with jumping between projects as, you can look at the one and say, "This part is done. Time to switch to the other one."
