@@walnzell9328 the idea was to use the legitimacy of the Ottoman dynasty as they were Turkish, the last Caliph, and held a great Empire. The Ottoman Turks also had some influence over Central Asia first as the Caliph, later with the campaign of Enver Pasha. So an Ottoman prince to establish a new state was really a good option.

I’ve read that Japan was going to put an Ottoman prince on the throne of a puppet nation in Xinjiang and it’s not out of the realm of possibility because they did it with Emperor Puyi and that Mongol Prince in the area around Inner Mongolia. One of my favorite things that I learned from the warlord era is that there was a warlord called Ma Zhongyin who wanted to restore the Timurid Empire with him as the Khan and he was located in Xinjiang. It’s a long story and I suggest you read up on the crazy things that happened in China during this time.

Well i have the formable nations series. And at some point a patreon asked me to play Afghanistan in kaiserredux and form the Ottoman Empire. 2 weeks after that i formed the Ottoman Empire with Egypt in rt56. And names the video i just keep forming the Ottoman Empire with any nation other then Turkey. And from that video people kept recomanding me paths that can form the Ottomans from other mods. So i just kept doing IT.
