It's counterintuitive for Magic players, because for them X is the cost paid. However, in StS, X is (almost) always your current energy, with the exception of mutlicast plasma orb echo form shenanigans.

I think a big reason why this run had frozen eye but wasn’t super long was because the sheer amount of draw almost invalidate it’s existence once the deck gets rolling.

Taking the gold does not leave. You can click on as many options as you want in this event multiple times. But only the bottom option leaves.

@@isocheeso The die next turn from blasphemy is coded in as a positive buff, so it would remove it. I know you're gonna argue that the buff from blasphemy is not a positive buff, so let's say the card is hard-coded to ignore it. That's debatable from the wording, but I'll take the harder route and say it ignores blasphemy. More damage for mind blast, which can kill enemies and therefor prevent damage. Can heal you more with eternal feather at rest sites, which is essentially the same as blocking. It also makes you target towards shops which can give you more block cards. It can make you more wary to fight an elite that you would potentially die to. It can also activate grand finale in many situations, which would kill enemies and prevent damage. Seems like a block card to me. Take a hint from the STS subreddit; it's basically impossible to create a non-block card.

Taking 90 gold doesn’t make you leave, you can repeat that event as much as you want until you choose to leave.

I was so eager to watch a great and rare claw run, unfortunately it was totally ruined by that frozen eye pickup... checking the draw pile like 20 times every turn really kills the fun factor and from pure entertainment i went to unwatchable in a minute (book of stabbing fight was the nail in that coffin, that fight should be displayed as a prime example whats wrong with this relic from a viewer perspective)... whatever go next video, and lets hope that relic wont happen
