Exactly. For example, I can’t visit any of my neighbors because the doors are gone. There is just a black hole, and I can’t click (knock) on the door to enter inside. And the other thing is that I can’t ride a bicycle or give my dogs a walk in the city because my sims enter in a loop and constantly turn around and around.

I can't own a dog in the apartments because they won't let themselves out to potty. Really wish they would fix that. Also I cant see any fish in any fish tanks 😕

I will say I had a lot of fun making a 9 unit luxury condo block this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration. For anyone who’s curious, it’s in the gallery titled “The Burkhardt”, situated in San Myshuno where the Casbah Gallery used to be - because why not.

I think it might be a lot of fun to create sims for each apartment and make up a realistic personality instead of a colorscheme. Someone could be recently divorced for instance and have some expensive items, but also a lot of hand-me-downs. Or someone could be very well traveled and collects artifacts from different places they visited.

I'm really enjoying Simsie getting more adventurous with her builds and color schemes. Orange and purple is such a good combo, and it was leaning into an updated mid-century mod vibe with some of the patterns. I think that Nifty Knitting couch would have worked really well. :)

Love this! I suggested on the speed build video that you should do a “furnishing challenge”! I think it would be super cool to see how not only you but others would set up and decorate these apartments. I actually downloaded it the other day and have done the first three apartments on the top floor so far.

Its so cute! A little tip for you: when placing things on the top shelf of a desk or a shelf that don't slot, you can use the box shelf from Dream Home Decorator and it's a lot easier to place clutter. Love ur vids Simsie!

I'm always bewildered with how EVERY TIME Kayla complains about some swatch or detail, it's *exactly* the swatch or detail that makes me love something. Fyi for the community there's a mod that lets you have and use multiple elevators in one building. So the custom apartments can kind of be made. You'd still need the roommate system but there's also a mod that lets you choose roomates! They're both by littlemssam and they have their mods in curseforge for easy installation.

I'm mainly a CAS simmer, so it would be fun to try and make sims that could live in all the apartments you design, I could use a mod that lets you have more than 8 sims per household and have them all live there in my save file.

I ❤️ this, apartment furnishing series. And after you are done furnishing, your 1st tennate can add a roommate, then another and so forth. She could be like the landlord and have 5 tennates. There wouldn't be any kids or married couples in there, but if she wanted them, she would need to live at the biggest level. I am going to download this build and see if it works. Are you talking about the building itself or decoration ? Most of her buildings are blue suburban houses, they doesnt look minimalistic at all, they often have a lot of clutter and furniture are in rustic/classic style.
