Based on your reaction, I will now have to make this, lol. A. 1. Sauce is an umami bomb: sweet, salty, and meaty at once. I make a sauce for tri-tip that has sour cream, A1 and horseradish, people swoon over it. Cheers.

Looks good, but it isn't a patty melt. Key components of a patty melt you missed are rye bread and grilled onions.

I did mention that those were key components of a patty melt but this was a different kind of patty melt. There are 100's of versions of this classic.
