Hey Taran! I have also just recently rediscovered my love for LEGO building, collecting and sorting, and it makes me happy to see you having fun doing the same thing. I have a long way to go, and I'm still not sure if I'm going to try to make any videos on it or just have it be an activity I do with my daughter. I ordered some stackable/modular storage drawers from AliExpress that I have high hopes for though, which I'm hoping will help me get organization slightly more under control. I have been extremely satisfied with my Brother MFC-L3770CDW. Obviously, temper your expectations for the quality of color prints you're gonna get out of a laser printer, but it's been perfect for printing board game manuals and things like that.

Be careful with the dark red bricks if they are older ones they can break very easily due to the dye they used to use messed with the abs plastic and made them very very brittle. A lot of old clone republic ships have them.

I run an Etsy shop and I need my printer for printing dozens of invoices and order slips every week - the only one that hasn't let me down both in terms of jams and set-it-and-forget-it software is the Brother MFC-L2710DW. That one is greyscale only but the CMYK variant (MFC-L3770CDW) has the same drum arrangement so I would expect similar performance from that one. Running Brothers over ethernet seems to have the best reliability, wifi and USB can be flaky.

In terms of printers don't overlook older small inkjets with super affordable and easy to refill ink. For occassional printing they're great and if the cartridges don't have any DRM just as cheap to run with generic ink refills. I got a used Canon IP100 5 years and its held up very well. I really can't see myself going back to a laser printer again soon, it's not worth the space to me.

Look for old ones, Pre 2010 Canon's are great. I have LBP 810 and a Win 7 virtual machine to use it, worked for years and the toner is still there, these are immortal machines

For a printer that creates as stickers for a small format job like that, you might want to consider one of those pocket sticker printers that's inkless and does the 2x3" prints. You would be able to get a few in each sheet, then use a razor to cut them to size and stick them on. 😁👍 Brother makes some decent laser printers, if you don't want to deal with companies like HP and their bullshit.

@@iaial0 I agree. Inkjets are generally a bad idea, but anything that ostensibly stops working because it just feels like you should buy a cartridge is trash. Better still is when a black and white page won't print because the color ink is out. (Mostly it wants to tattle on you by marking the yellow security code across the page, so it can be traced if you print anything illegal.) 😳

For a laser printer/scanner that doesn't suck, Brother makes some great laser multifunction printers with document feeders for the scanner and that do double-sided printing. I haven't used the colour ones yet, and you can mostly avoid their software once it's set up to scan to a network share or something. God I sound like an ad.
