The main reason why the combat in this war was so weird was because each nation only had one city, and therefore one army. This made it really easy for a small nation (e.g. Portugal) to take over a much bigger nation when that nation's army was somewhere else.

I'd love to see a video where you use a continent with randomly generated countries at the height of their power and technology (or a premade map with real/fictional countries), turn rebellions and wars on, and then ad lib the history of the war that happens in the game, including reasons for certain wars and battle strategies, and maybe even funny backstories or facts about the kings and generals.

tbh it's unfortunate that the game does not give debuffs for harsh climates so basically whoever has more land at the start gets the highest chance of winning. I like the idea of giving them guns for better destruction but when viewed from afar it does not look much different from regular worldbox. Might be better to be zoomed in a bit more often.

Its actually pretty accurate about Finland lasting long when the Soviet Union invaded them. The Soviets weren't used to the Finnish Terrain and Finlands soldiers where dressed white and camoflouged in the snow.
