I don't understand what do people expect him to say, "yeah I found this one weird trick that nobody knows where I move a magic wand and money starts pouring". To me everything he says is sound advice and logical. Functional businesses are like this, just a well oiled machine that provides value to someone.

Hate to say this but somethings off and fishy @ 10:55 when you asked about the tech stack he was not very open towards it, he just shared notion and outseta(which is used for managing subscriptions) and is NOT a no-code builder platform, he didn't even break-down the running cost of $1000. Don't want to sound rude but do you do due-diligence of checking the interviewee's stripe/ payment account before jumping on a recording session? and also, most of the viewers of this channel are creators or those who aspire to become one, so while watching an interview with tech creator there is an expectation of getting to know atleast something regarding the tech-stack.
@jennifertruitt3198Ай бұрын
Why don’t YOU do your homework!! Outseta has a no code option and is for much more than managing subscriptions!! All these new creators want info given to them but don’t do any additional research, want something for nothing!! Bro, how’s your content coming along??! Other than bad mouthing others! That doesn’t count as REAL content, btw!!

@@jennifertruitt3198what Outseta app are you seeing? It's not a low code app development tool at all? It's a business management CRM system. The dude clearly didn't build 2 web apps with Notion or Outseta. So the comment is totally spot on. The guy didn't list anything for his tech stack and his monthly costs he even said are about $1000 and not roughly $50 like he said the Notion and Outseta cost. So what costs the other $900+ dollars a month to run his business?
@71co0kАй бұрын
@@jennifertruitt3198 You'll need to provide a link to this capability - I have searched the Outseta site and reviewed all of their offerings and I do not find an app builder that will do anything like what the subject of the interview has built. Outseta allows for login auth, tracking, gating and related CRM capabilities. No ability to build the actual app functionality beyond that.
@fer_MOMENTOАй бұрын
I’m more of a product designer with some old-school front-end skills, so when people ask me about coding practices or tech stacks, I don’t feel like I bring much value. I DO recommend Notion for project management and Outseta for the backend-it handles payments, auth, CRM, and all that in a secure way. For the front end, I don’t use any fancy modern frameworks, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and some libraries. I’m sure modern frameworks could be great for beginners. Honestly, for solo entrepreneur projects, the best stack is the one you’re comfortable with and lets you move fast.
@lguy330Ай бұрын
@@jennifertruitt3198 Why the agro response? It's a perfectly valid question. You can do all your own research in the world, but it's just going to be speculation unless the person in the interview confirms whether or not they actually used the Outseta no-code option.

Highly disappointing that Fernando did not fully disclose his tech stack. Outseta is not a website builder itself, but rather a platform that integrates with various website building tools to add membership and business management functionalities. Fernando did not share the tools he used for Website Development. You'll need to create your website using a separate platform or tool. Once you have your website built, you can then integrate Outseta to add membership features, authentication, and other business tools. This integration is typically done by adding Outseta's embed scripts to your website's header, placing Outseta's widgets (like sign-up, login, and profile management) on your pages and configuring content protection for member-only areas.

I love the video's! It's always motivational to see what other entrepreneurs are getting up to. However, something is bothering me. 'The conversation' doesn't come across as natural. It's very obvious that the questions asked, are not exactly the ones being answered. The response doesn't match the tone of the questions. The questions are in the tone of a presenter, but the response is always conversational. In my humble opinion, it would feel a lot more natural if the questions were also in the tone of a conversation. Or the questions should be presented as a new chapter, where the presenter becomes more of a story teller. Still love the video's and hope there are plenty more to come!

yup, agreed. You can tell the questions were added later. Would feel more authentic if we saw the original conversation.
