One problem this guy has to solve is he has to start listening more than he's talking. Women want to feel heard. They don't want you talking over them before they finish their sentence. This is a good example of how money doesn't matter as much as men think it does with women. They'd rather date a broke Chad than a short, overweight rich guy. I sometimes walk into the gym in old clothes, covered in mud from riding my bike in the rain and still feel women checking me out. Totally agree about maximizing your clothes and looks/body, that can make a big (huge) difference. However, I don't see the point in lying about your interests. First of all, most women worth dating will see through the lies or sense something is off, and second, it will bring you off-target and into a relationship that's probably not sustainable and you'll waste your time and money on a dead-end path. It's much better to be confident and charming and have some oddities than fundamentally lie about who you are. I absolutely don't want to date a perfect 10 woman if we don't click on an intellectual level and have common interests. I've banged hot women and sooner or later (for me, in about a week or two) it will get old if there's no underlying connection. But, I agree that playing and talking about D&D likely won't be the best vector for meeting women.

Rich's book motivated me to get back in shape and Bigger Leaner Stronger by Mike Matthews along with the MyFitnessPal app helped me execute. I used to buy into BMI not being a good measure if you build muscle and thought 180-190 would be a good weight at 5'10". Now I realize by the time I get my body fat to an athletic range I'm going to weigh less than 174 at 5'10" which is the max before being considered overweight by BMI. I plan on going down to 10% body fat then bulking back up to 15% and alternating until I've achieved a shoulder to waist ratio of 1.6 and then staying about 10-12% body fat.

You'd be surprised. I'm 5'5", 14st. 30 BMI (Borderline obese). I've been practicing karate for ~5 years, 1-2 times a week. I'm almost a black belt now. You can develop skill in a martial art, whilst still being overweight and unfit. Skill =/= conditioning, that's my teacher sometimes spends half the class on cardio to remind us of that. That's my goal for the new year, getting in shape.

But traditional karate, with its linework and kat, is mostly moderate aerobic exercise. I've seen fat middle aged mums with black belts. They know their stuff, they're not bad per se. But spar with them longer than 5 min and they're done for. My stamina is fucked after nearly 2 years of covid. Missed far too much training. Luckily ive only put on half a stone. I'm mooting joining a sports karate club, they'll put a lot more emphasis on fitness.

Yeah you can’t be 210 at 5’6. I’m 5’7 and I realized I had to lose weight when I was 190. Once I started losing weight women started to gravitate to me a lot more. I’m only 173 but I’m trying to get to 160.

Guys delusional about his weight/looks and is lacking in personality & social skills. No amount of money can make up for a boring personality and poor social skills, I've known guys fat & short who got laid from just having a kick ass personality. Best advice for him to lose weight is to go on a calorie deficit and make sure you get enough protein sleep water and nutrients that men need. High testosterone will help him burn fat faster and build more muscle

This guy needs to get his ass to the gym more often or start tracking his diet.
