I honestly don't know how people do vlogmas. Thinking of an idea, filming, editing, and uploading a video every day isn't easy.

Hang in there little sister. It's all a struggle, but there are some good times regularly there to surprise and sustain us.

I find it helps to know your reason why. So in the moments when the question arises “do I want to eat this?”… the answer is already there. The answer is “no I don’t, because… “ fill in the blank “is so much more important to me”. My suspicion is that you love yourself more than to eat something u know will make you feel like dirt. “Why do I choose not to eat that?…. Because I love myself. “ ❤ We all have our things. Ull get there. And try not to be hard on urself in the meantime…. Cause that doesn’t help. 😊👍

I don't observe the holiday but I'm really enjoying your vlogging, you've been making me smile. Most days I don't get done what I hope to accomplish, my body and mind don't cooperate like they used to. I don't beat myself up over it like I used to do. Just do what you can. 🤗 Hope you feel better soon.

I wonder if other KZbinrs that do vlogmas if they prepare them a few weeks in advance and schedule them to be uploaded at specific dates...

I love your version of vlogmas ! Whatever you post is super. Insightful and funny. I am working on some similar things with sugar and food... too much to type here... I have also found some 12 step work around food is helpful. You are awesome!

Maybe you need to just go cold turkey with sugar? I was just like you, totally addicted to sugar and one day I realised how ill I felt and I decided to just stop. And I did. It’s been 12 years now. I make my own rules up - it’s my choice, so my rules. I allow myself sugar in alcohol - but not in food. I’ve never even tasted salted caramel as it came out after I stopped sugar! Now, I honestly don’t care or want it. It took about a couple of months to get through the rough bits, then a year to stop craving it completely. Was it hard? NO! I’m shocked to this day it wasn’t harder, I’d eat chocolates for breakfast and biscuits in my sleep. It’s very achievable - no weaning yourself off, just stop and tell everyone you don’t eat sugar anymore. Get into the mindset and do it - you are in control! 🎉

PMS and bad decisions, we know the struggles! I wish you the best! 🫖🍵🌼(camomile tea) And if you are in the mood and have the energy to add some healthy things to your day, like walking with the dog, do it. If not, it's fine. I will tell you a secret. I was so sick of myself of the PMS cravings or winter blue cravings that I decided to not delete the evidence anymore. I kept all the empty bags of potato chips, cookies, chocolates and other unhealthy but oh so sweet and delicious snacks since 26th of October. I have already eaten so much that I now should skip the snacks on New Years 'eve. Anyways, I try to eat two pieces of fruit everyday and accept the bad decisions on other days. :)
