Thanks so much! I needs the motivation now too I’m laying in bed exhausted. This message is a reminder to wake up and brave the wind and waves of the day!

I think DJI should sponsor you next time when they release new dji osmo pocket 4 . You deserve for that

Thanks for the kind words! I don’t think my style matches what they’re looking for, but maybe one day! When I get fixed on doing something I usually stick with it especially if the tool is right for my aesthetic. For example that gh5s I used in the clips - I used from gh2, gh4 over a decade made many feature films and shorts. I still use it as seen in some shots ahah.

I sometimes feel like the small drone flying in huge winds like these🤣

Haha. I def feel more like a tiny dji neo these days 😅

Now I know what you meant in your last comment. The NEO is probably not suitable for the coast. You should replace it by the DJI Flip. That doesn't solve the wind problem, but at least the Flip has 4K video quality and D-Log M profile, like the OP 3.

Yeah it’s something I’ll look into for the future. I quite like the neo still but it’s definitely noticeable between the two cameras. It’s like when I cut to my iPhone 12 it’s noticeable in terms of quality change. I do think the neo does fit my ethos, doing with what you have.

The filming, title, and thumbnail are good, but I didn’t get the idea of the video. After 2 minutes, I was asking myself: Why am I watching this? Inspiration? Learning something? It’s unclear. Maybe ask yourself what your videos should provide and make sure to answer that in the content. But thank you for the video anyway

@@NoHomage I enjoyed the video, but from a marketing perspective, it might help to clarify the value it provides to viewers. Is the goal to inspire, inform, or teach something? A stronger focus on the purpose could enhance the experience for the audience. Looking forward to more videos! 😁

@@canersjourneyI had a think about it! I do cinematic vlogs but deliver the story, techniques with more leanings towards slow cinema, Arthouse/independent cinema movements. It’s a bit of a hybrid which can catch some off guard but across my channel I’ve found there is a small audience that connects to it. I do wonder, given I am in some way subverting expectations - it’s kind of a conundrum I’m in, since there is a message delivered “that I make vlogs look like movies - on dji osmo pocket 3” the message is by the end being despite being small (using consumer gear, or having only what you have) you can make and tell stories on this platform or for yourself which ever way you want (your free to make art how you see, pick up record). That’s where every story beat leads, opening, middle and end. It’s more delivered in a poetic way which might not always connect. I’m appreciative of this comment - a big part of this channel is trying to connect but with my leanings to make these episodes on consumer gear but the ideology of cinema (but unlike what’s been done before the amazing work of life of riza, Megan tan and other cinematic Vloggers) I want to show a new perspective, different styles, influences because I feel the audience deserves to be introduced to this kind of execution. I must say even typing this it’s probably a marketing nightmare - actually it’s kinda hilarious coz I get your point… at least the images are pretty 😅 haha

not everything needs to come from a marketing perspective, otherwise you stray from expressing (making art) and are more about selling. I’m in it for the ride. I learn from your storytelling @nohomage 🙏🏼

It's good to take time to rethink the message you want to provide in your videos. Now I get it! I mean, I watched your video and I liked it, but I just wasn’t really sure what you wanted to provide. I hope your style will get big in the future! it’s unique and has potential! 😊
