After doing a ton of research, after asking lots of questions in electric scooter chatrooms, and after watching this video several times very closely, i bought this scooter. Thank you ERR for helping me make a great decision. My office is 3.7 miles from the train station. But that 3.5 miles would require waiting for/taking 2 buses, which add on an extra 25-45 mins, plus an extra 10-minute walk from the bus to the door of my office. On this baby, I'm train to door in 15 minutes. Is it a little heavy? Yes, at just under 40 lbs, it's not light. But I've already gotten used to carrying it on/off the train, and up/down the stairs at the station. If i want to add an extra 3 mins to my commute, I'll walk it to the elevator and not carry it. I can balance it on the back wheel between my legs and there's still plenty of room for another passenger to sit next to me on the train. Riding in downtown chicago is perilous-lots of traffic, lots of potholes, lots of metal grates to drive over that can't be avoided-no problem with the inflatable tires. in fact, the model with the solid tires I tried...every tiny crack in the street or sidewalk set my teeth and internal organs chattering and bouncing. This product is as (or most likely more) solid and well-made than anything compatible power-wise, size-wise, or price wise. I'm 6' 240, and on straightaways, I'm cookin' at 21mph. big hills? that's another story. But unless you get a 1000 watt motor (the battery for which would be quite a bit heavier), this is what it is. Nobody's paying me a dime-I just love this machine, and it's gotten me away from a 1.5 hour (x2) driving commute to work every day and on to public trans.

will it slowly make it up hills? or not at all? im only 10-20lbs lighter than you. i may end up with a 60lb scooter to be able to pull my weight around.

To anyone that is curious. I bought this scooter and sent' it back within 3 days. It is super super heavy and steelish. Way too heavy to comfortable bring it inside or walking up steps with. Powerful scooter that feels like your carring a lawnmower

Personally I don't like inflatable tires on something like this. it's too much of a pain to keep them inflated at the right pressure and to get replacements if you get a flat. I much prefer the hard rubber ones even though the ride quality suffers a bit

*Battery life is great **Latest.Bike** Scooter . Love the different driving modes. It’s got a little headlight and taillight too. Gets lots of looks haha*

I just got one of these and I absolutely love it. My wife and I are both small in stature and we both fit on it at the same time. It’s so much fun! The brake is superior to other electric scooters I tried, but I’d still like a second disc brake on the front tire and hydraulic controls (minor nitpick). The weight doesn’t bother me. It’s easy enough to get in and out of a trunk or carry up a flight of stairs. Otherwise I just get off and wheel it. It’s really quiet, and the tires absorb the bumps. Most electric bikes top out at 20 mph, the same speed as this scooter! Electric bikes faster than 20 mph are double or triple the price, and this is more fun! Thanks for sharing your excellent reviews.

Whats the max incline?
@Ryan2566 жыл бұрын
That depends on your weight and your speed when you get to the hill. If you weigh 150 pounds and you hit a fairly steep hill at full speed, no problem. If you're closer to 250 pounds and you hit a hill going slower, you might have to kick.
@smokeysaur95406 жыл бұрын
@@Ryan256 thanks. I live in an extreamly bumpy rocky area. Theres big hills and everything. Im 13 and 71 pounds. Would it be a good scooter? Im trying to find a powerful, fast, yet durable scooter with a sleek design.

If you have anywhere near you that sells electric scooters or bicycles, try riding a few in real life. That will give you the best idea of what will work for your situation.

I have had the most issues with mine. I got it in and out of the box it had a front flat tire that can't be repaired, the brakes are warped and can't be tuned to correct the issue, the fenders are warped and rub the tires or the air valve and the screen was already scratched and is easily scratchable. As for ride performance,...no clue. This has been a $1,300 paperweight so far.

Any update?
@JamisonLackey8 жыл бұрын
Update: New tires good to go, I worked on the disk brakes and got them to finally stop scrubbing and re-positioned both fenders and it made all the difference. It's been a great little ride and well-built too. It was disappointing having to repair so many things on a new costly item but we are all set now. I think this is a solid scooter with a ton of power. I would recommend it!
@Knapweed8 жыл бұрын
Jamison Lackey Thanks for the update. It's just as well, I bought one today. lol It actually has a bigger battery (11.6AH) than the one advertised (10AH), which should give it an extra mile or two.

Good deal! That one will be super powerful! It will get you around quickly, uphills aren't a thing to worry about.

I just bought a used one for $500 & I'm loving it! I'm 230lbs & the scooter reaches 19-20mph with no problem. It rides up decent hills great (considering my weight). I'm still testing out the range but tonight I rode 8.4 miles to Hollywood & returned home with 3 out 5 battery bars; not bad. The only thing negative would be that this scooter is heavy, no joke. Don't believe that pic (on Amazon) of the cute Asian girl carrying it like it is skateboard. But for $500 I can't really complain :)

I have this scooter but with other name, speedway mini 3 (version 4 is also available), got it for 650 dollars from aliexpress. It has a 350W motor and a 36V 21Ah battery. maximum speed is around 35-40 and mileage 40-50 at my weight of 85kg. The scooter only weights 15kg which is amazing. Very good stuff .
@turtlepowersf5 жыл бұрын
but this model is 500W/48V right? wouldnt that make it the same as the mini4? did you have a good experience from Alibaba? i can snag a 3200w scooter for a little over $1k. im a heavier rider so i need more power.

I couldn't balance when i was on the ecoreco, and it was shaking and instable due to the tiny tires. That's why I chose iMAX because it is a much easier ride.

How does it perform on up hills?
@Knapweed7 жыл бұрын
It takes hills effortlessly, 25% at 185lbs and 21kmh... and, completely silently. Although the motor is nominally 500W, it actually peaks at 750W, which is just over a 1HP.

Whats wrong with made in China?? lol 99% of our stuff is made from another country other than the United States... Hell 99% of the stuff that say "made in the U.S." are really only put together in the U.S. but the component(s) are made in a different country....
