Actually she was kidnapped by Nathan where he later killed her by overdose of the drug on accident. The teacher didn't get her. I love this game so much and I can't with that ending it killed me. 1:01:40 I feel like this little conversation between the firefighters adds more to the theory of Rachel having powers. Because when she first lit the photo on fire and started it all, it looked like her yelling made the fire grow, then throughout the game the fire just kept growing and growing the more Rachel was learning and figuring things out (leading her to become more conflicted and angry) but right when she nearly dies, it goes out. There’s no way that’s just a coincidence.

In my opinion, the story of who Sera is.... seriously sucks ass. They literally made her out to be a drug addicted devil, abandoning her child, feeling so negative about life, never happy. I can't help but feel like the writers were just lazy, making her look like a monster with no other personality. Obviously, something drove her to drugs. Obviously she was depressed when she felt she needed to escape, like kill herself with an overdose. I wish they would have had more of HER point of view.

What if Rachel has the same rewind power that Max has? Think about it, hear me out- Their friendship is similar to Chloe and Max’s, and it seemed as though Rachel just went after Chloe specifically, like she needed or knew her. Rachel is awfully confident and good at the two truth, one lie. In episode two, Rachel quotes “you’re a hero, Chloe” to which Chloe replies “I’m not” and Rachel returns with a “You will be” and what happens in the next episode? Yeah. Rachel also is just so chill and wise about everything. Obviously that crazy teacher saw whatever “special thing” he saw in Max but Rachel, as we know, didn’t escape. She also seems so have some supernatural force in general with the fire being so connected to her and she being so powerful.

Even if he just takes a few moments to acknowledge other people besides focusing so strongly on Rachel and Chloe, he would remember who other characters were and wouldn’t forget little bits and pieces of the story. I don’t know, it’s like he doesn’t want it to end but then rushes through some parts to get the story finished...

This game messed up a couple things with the first game. Firstly, they seemed so in love, so why would Rachel then sleep with Jefferson? (Yes, she slept with him, the wiki says so) she also told Chloe he "changed her life" but after all this, why would she deviate to him? And what happened with Frank and Rachel? Frank was in love with her, and it seems she had some sort of affection to him as well, but told Chloe she was just messing with him (however in the first game we learn that wasn't true) so, if you are with her in this game, that basically means she cheated on the next. Also, accepting David's apology leads to a nice ending here, but they're still fighting in the next game, so that doesn't make much sense.
