I MELTED MY BRAKE PADS ON MY FOCUS RS!

After a few Months of being off the track and driving the RS on the Street I noticed that I did not have the same amount of braking power that I once had when applying adequate brake pedal pressure to come to a nice stop at a stop light. I knew I needed to replace the brake pads as soon as I could so I could increase my braking power on track, but I didn't think that I would find what I did upon removing the Hawk 5.0 Pads that I had installed on the car just Last Year.

Notice and discoloration on the RS brembo calipers like the Evo’s after heavy track use? Just curious. Love the videos, keep them coming!

I have not seen my brake calipers color wear out just yet because I haven’t been through a lot of hard track days, but I have seen other RS’s have discoloration already since the paint that’s used on the calipers are not related for the amount of heat that the brakes produce. Thank you! After driving on the EBC’s for a couple months my RS has a noticeable increase in braking power to the point that I have been stopping way before I expect it to stop.

I would replace those rotors, the inside portion looks thinner than the outside

Yes they are, apparently they're about the same size as the F-150 Brake rotors.
