Wanna know something even crazier? I met this guy 10 years ago at my first-ever competition in Wellington, New Zealand. There were only 25 competitors. If iI'm not mistaken, he was going for a national multi blind record at the time. I’d never spoken to him before, and now, out of nowhere, this video gets recommended to me. Absolutely mental.

Damn thats some dedecation you have, 10 years!!! I love how you made a video each year with the cube and took the effort to make them transition perfectly into eachother! its fun to see that even 10 years ago you did these smooth transitions, like you do now in the beginning of some of your video's. insane

I love being on a fringe edge of the cubing community - not a partipant nor avid observer, but into adjacent topics (particularly recreational mathematics) and exposed to it through a handful of KZbin creators who are participants - so that every few months or years I get a mindblowing video like this recommended to me. What a feat!

Dude literally had video of what the cube looked like he could check at any time. His proof he didn't cheat is "trust me bro"
@matheuscabral9618Күн бұрын
How on earth would he be able to prove it? 😂😂 You want footage of everything he did over the last 10 years??
@hoagie911Күн бұрын
@matheuscabral9618 Unnecessary. Firstly, he should have someone else scramble the cube for him. Then he can be allowed to look at it. Then the other person can enter the cube's state into a website that only unlocks after 10 years, or to another reputable cuber who we can trust to uphold the challenge, and then re-scramble the cube so it no longer matches. All of that could be filmed in a one-take shot but with the cube being obscured by a cloth or something so the footage couldn't be used to cheat.
@matheuscabral9618Күн бұрын
@@hoagie911 he could still cheat by just writing down the cube’s state any time he wanted. There is zero way to completely prevent cheating over a ten year period.
