So glad you went to the museum that I suggested. I know you didn’t show much of the museum but I couldn’t believe the moccasin collection they had . It was incredible. If you would have gone down the same road was the Yellowstone Kelly site. The bugs are intense in Montana. At Pompeys Pillar National Monument on a plaque it said when the Lewis and Clark expedition camped they said the mosquitoes were so bad that it was hard for them to sleep and drove them crazy. This place best known for the inscription left behind by William Clark of the Lewis and Clark expedition on a rock.

I spent a fortune on a theatre tickets. Was so looking forwards to it. Came to the day of the theatre. Checked what time it starts. It was on the 14 th of the month. the date I looked was the 24 of the month. Completely missed the show. So we all do it.. lol. Love you Jacob keep on going. Bev GB xxx

This whole story makes me smile. My mom went to school in Billings and met my dad in Great Falls. She just passed away a month ago. She is shaking her head from heaven. She and her parents raised farm animals for real in Shepherd and didn't bother with the fairs. :) Also, the ferris wheel at the Billings Fair made her super sick as a kid, yet Big Thunder Mountain was her favorite ride. So whatever, Billings Fair! Sorry, that sounds silly that they named it the Montana fair. Must be a story there somewhere.

💯 with you to go to the actual Montana State Fair now. Eating a couple hundred dollars on already booked hotel rooms and then some extra gas money is less costly vs going all the way back out to Montana in the future and spending on even more gas and hotel rooms then. Appreciate your videos and taking us around the USA! 🇺🇸

You'll eventually learn to stop booking travel things (car rentals, hotels, etc...) through 3rd party companies. Book directly through the hotel and get the refundable room. Most you can cancel the day of the stay. They're usually $5-10 more a night for refundable and worth it, especially if you're a traveler with a fluctuating itinerary.

A suggestion: Purchase a car scanner/code reader from an auto store for future car issues. That way you will know the issue before going to a repair shop where they will charge you $100 on average to do it. Saves on any upcharging the dealer/service station may try to milk out of you. Safe travels.

Jacob! Next time you need to get off the bugs this will work 100% of the time and is so much cheaper! All you need to do is grab a bottle of peroxide that has the spray bottle top and before you go to bed at night and you're done driving for the day spray the front of the car and the glass because the bugs are organic material it will bubble them up and remove them easily without ruining your paint and you don't need to scrub!!

Quick tip turn on your a/c or heat (weather appropriate) when going through car wash especially if you enjoy the smell. It refreshes the car and cleans filters a bit. As for the hotels I'd recommend picking a chain and book direct. Choice hotels and Wyndham hotels are a couple I use regularly as they have numerous price points across the country. Frequent stays translates to perks including room upgrades and free nights... A good thing to have when plans change. Safe travels!

My parents always used Coke to clean the bugs from the windshield and it works. And you got to invoke the Euem Rule, which I wholeheartedly approve and support. Number 26 tomorrow.
