@@ThatDudes3DPrints No worries. I have yet to set up my Saturn 4 Ultra, but your videos will definitely help me save a lot of time as well as watch out for things like this. Extremely helpful.

Well done posting this kind of video! It makes you stand taller than other KZbinrs by admitting your own fault. Others would just ignore it and move on.

Well i just saw this video after the previous one. If i may give again my situation, i NEVER successfully achieved any full print with my S4U. The back of the build plate always fail, nothing sticks ton the bed. Some of the supports in the middle are hanging, partially removed from the build plate. The front parts are in pretty good condition. if the back of the plate fails because of loose, it means if have to tighten the screws to reinforce the spring tension ? Or does it mean i have to losen it to lower the back of the plate ?
@ThatDudes3DPrints11 күн бұрын
Hey so you would losen them. I would run the calibration and then losen them on that final step and use the paper to make sure it's good. You can also tighten the front a bit that might also help level it out as well.

@@ThatDudes3DPrints thank you sir ! I'll try that as soon as possible ! I saw somewhere that having this kind of problem might also be caused by the lift speed. As it's a tilting mechanism i guess it would be possible to cause a problem because of the differencial of angular speed between the front and the back of the VAT, but... Is it even possible to modify the that speed ? I didn't see the setting in Chitubox or Lychee
@ThatDudes3DPrints9 күн бұрын
Yeah unfortunately that is all controlled by the printer. If you continue to have issues even after trying this maybe reach out to Elegoo they might have a Gcode file you could run to possibly fix the lift speed maybe I honestly don't know if that would help but it's their machine lol

@@ThatDudes3DPrints thank you for your replies, i think i'll send them a mail to ask for further information on how to correct all this mess.

i have my mars 5 ultra buildplate assembled in a way that there is no room for adjustments unless you glue a washer on each corner of the top plastic cover, so the adjustment screws rest on it and pull a corner if needs to. this is so shit and useless design, it doesn't autolevel at all and obstructs cleaning process, ugh
@ThatDudes3DPrints23 күн бұрын
Hey! I feel you it's not a great design but it is a step forward in trying to inovate and as much as this isn't the best idea they tried something new and hopefully other companies will see this and maybe try new things as well that work better for us as the consumers. But I agree cleaning the buildplate is not fun lol
