First of all I’m a Chef, just put in the fridge then when you heat it up put some minced Garlic and make a garlic rice and chop some green onion scallion and little bit of soy sauce and that’s it more tasty. You can cook rice again ....but it must be dry....to cook rice again (sinangag), first saute garlic n onions in oil, then put the rice and stir so it does not stick to the pan , add salt or magic sarap to taste....you can also add fried eggs n hotdogs....thii is called sinangag n eaten for breakfast

Valentina, I always like your content! Its not true that Filipinos only eat freshly cooked rice. We also store left over rice in the fridge and reheat it when we're hungry. And, sometimes we take left over rice and make fried rice for breakfast. Its quite delicious with garlic and soy sauce. You should try it sometime .

No we eat also not fresh rice, If you have a microwave you can heat it again... But usually many filipinos dont have microwave so they cant reheat it, but if you have a rice cooker yes it can also reheat it there... And what we usually do with a left over rice if its too many is we cook it into a fried rice... Like garlic rice... Its very delicious!

It`s not true that Filipinos only eat fresh or newly cooked rice. We always store left over rice and eat it again the next meal or the next day. If it takes too long to store in the fridge we make the leftover rice into fried rice (cooked it with garlic, salt and cooking oil. It`s very good especially during breakfast and eating it with fried eggs and tocino and tapa (Have you tried these food?) 🙂

We dont normally reheat left over rice. We make fried rice out of it. Kapampangans in the province of Pampanga use left over rice to make a specialty they call “Burong Isda”. There are many Video tutorials in youtube on how to make burong isda.

When I heard he learned Russian on Duolingo, I'm blown away! I used to read and pronounce Russian texts with ease 21 years ago thanks to t.A.T.u.'s global popularity back then, now its gone 🤣 so nice to see Filipino learning foreign languages besides English! about on the rice, we re-cook our rice as we call it "Sinangag", its fried rice with garlic and usually serve it with home-made sausages or hotdogs and sunny-side up egg

We eat rice cold (bahaw) or fresh (newly). If u put the rice in fridge then u should heat it again. My style, i put hot water to the cold rice maybe 1 glass depends how many rice u cook. Thats how I heat cold rice before eating. I eat the rice i cook the day and eat it again even without heating.
