I’m with you! I love traveling and meeting new folks, but NOT in crowds. I think that’s why my husband and I love camping. We enjoy the peace and quiet. Our 2003 Element, known as ELLIE, is so much fun to travel in. Hopefully we’ll get her equipped soon so we can leave our tent at home! I love your videos and am gradually catching up on them all.

@Ninth Element that might be the case. I grew up in Artesia NM. Go to Sitting Bull Falls and Carlsbad Caverns if you ever head that way.

@Ninth Element you might also need to be very aware....meth labs are sometimes set up in these remote areas, and abandoned old properties. You could end up in a hairy situation. Be very careful out there.

Great video as always. I too wear high performance footwear. In particular, the most comfortable of the Crocs for me is the all terrain. They stand up to a lot of use and provide super traction and support. Looking forward to getting my sticker pack!

I live in Portland, Oregon, did a cross country trip in my Astro van last fall, am dealing with cancer now, so looking for displeased camping in Oregon for this summer. Any suggestions as to where I can find information on where to disperse camp around here ? Your channel is great. One question… doesn’t the lack of headroom in your Element bother you ? I had to re-do the interior of mine to give me a little more headroom. Can’t wait to get back out there !

L, I am sorry that you are going through that, and I hope that treatment keeps you well. I suggest getting an Oregon Back Roads Atlas and checking into BLM. Sadly, I do not share my locations publicly so that they do not get overwhelmed by too many people. I don't stay in bed longer than I need to sleep, this affords me so much time outside, which is what I prefer. Cheers!

Always a pleasure watching you Mindy. Yes Florida is flat. lol And its hot. 92* already and hasn't rained much. Cant wait for summer when it 110 and you can cut the air with a .... lol Not! That spot your at looks like the place old western movies were filmed, very cool. You have a lot of courage traveling like that by yourself. I am very much an introvert also. Not sure if I would have the courage to travel as much as you are by myself with so much crazy stuff going on in the country/world these days. I do however plan to buy a tiny house in the mountains here in the east to escape this Florida heat and enjoy some different scenery. My body has been kissed by the Florida sun my whole life and my skin just cant take it anymore. And it's tough when your the outdoorsy type to hibernate inside. @@NinthElement a lot of history there from the cattle days, Billy the Kid was even involved. Those are probably homes from the many Mexican people who live here and settled this area, probably owned for Generations. the Apache reservation is on the road to Ruidoso they own land in the mountains. You said you went to the library did you take any pictures of the Civilized part of town🤠😁

Mindy, I bought myself a cigarette lighter powered electric blanket for our winter here, I haven't used it yet, but I'm jolly sure that I soon will be. I've had five winters, spent with loss of circulation in fingers n toes and as I age, I have to say, I'm losing my patience with that. Have had so much rain/ storms here of late and that patience is wearing thin in that regard also! Great video. Wish i made the live. I love watching clouds and their different formations. I get being an introvert. However I grew up a brat military and my mom worked in theater as a director so needless to say she is a extra extrovert..like a diva omg. It was draining to have to hold it together.
