Tatars that settled in Poland were free to follow theirs religion since settling. They gave us many great leaders and heroes. They were and are part of Poland and Poland will always be loyal to them.

I was born and mostly raised in Poland, as a kid I learned in school about the Tatars. I learned that they were great warriors, they fought for the Polish king and forever earned rights and became officially recognized by the government, in fact there was a certain amount of pride associated with them. Poland is +90% Christian(Roman Catholic) quite a bit less are practicing but, the population in Poland realized that there is a great amount of stability that comes with a homogeneous society. For example, ethnic Russians are practically nonexistent in Poland, Stalin made sure of that, but thanks to that Putin can never invade under the pretext of “saving his precious countrymen”. People in Poland are not afraid of Islam, they are afraid that so many will come that they will institute their own laws, take over towns and even the Police will be afraid to go in there. It’s what’s happening in England and other places in Western Europe.

I don't think Tatars are having tough time in Poland from what I've heard they're very respected minority. Not only by the government but also by the locals living in Eastern part of the country. Turkish minority in Poland is well integrated too. Regarding some marginal situations when there were clashes I don't think there was a case when somebody burned down the mosque in Poland I do not recall such situation. There was an attack on the kebab store but that was becuase the guy who worked at the kebab store have attacked one of the locals with a knife so community gathered around and attacked the kebab store. I'm not aware of any other situations.

I was always fascinated with polish Tatars and other minorities that decided to become Poles, like Germans, Scotts, Jews and many other. Being open for all these nationalities and creating multicultural republic is something I can be proud of.

Only one mosque were set on fire (but not burned) in Poland in Gdańsk (2013), not many mosques (as you said). And police don't know who did it but muslims themselves are suspected... Nowadays Tatars suffer much more from Arab immigrants because of their radical intolerance due to the allegation of "Tatar soft islam", than they ever suffered from catholic Poles.

I'm from Poland and I try to remind myself incidents of mosques being burned in Poland and I hardly remember anything. I've checked even Google to be sure and there is only one situation of Mosque in Gdańsk, where entrance door was burned (not the whole mosque). Arsonists haven't been found so far, but police suspect that the mosque fire was supposed to be a revenge for ritual slaughter of cattle and far-left extremists are the main suspects. Police found evidences saying about that.
