I agree I wanted to hear his logic when talking about the aliens. I was getting frustrated for him, he needs someone else at the same level intellectually to bounce ideas off of. The girls didn't understand his points, they kept shutting down his explanation when the whole point of the voicemail was to be starting off point for further discussion. It's a podcast, if we just wanted yes or no answers we would ask on your instagram stories. This podcast is unfortunately just exposing the shallowness and ignorance of this family (not excluding Brandon from this he's been in the wrong before too, but in this case I was getting really annoyed for him)

Because alot of women tend to look at things on a micro level and men tend to take a big picture approach and perspective on things. There are outliers obviously, but i think Kennedys mindset is how most women her age think now. Notice on if Brandon has any good points or arguments they usually just cut him off or dismiss it? I think what I said is a big part of that and lack of critical thinking skills on their end specifically.

I met a lot of men who lack critical thinking abilities and women who don’t and vice versa. It’s also not related to age as well. Btw, I’m also a girl around Kennedy’s age (a few years younger), but I believe a have an ability to think critically and see the big picture (sorry for mistakes, English is not my first language) Edit: I also think the big problem is not that some people can’t think deeper, they just don’t want to, so sometimes it’s more of a lack of curiosity issue

I agree/disagree with Claudia’s take on long distance. I agree with her that if you and someone really like each other you can make distance work. On the other hand, (experience) when you and someone else are in college (young and broke) you cannot afford plane tickets and other cost of traveling to see each other often. Claudia and Jesse were making enough money definitely to travel on planes etc for each other. That’s it though. Besides that I agree with her on everything else. Go back home and be with your people, see where you guys are at with while texting and calling if things go good or south. Figure it out from there. Don’t move for him

actually, Brandon’s questions made a lot of sense on topic of aliens but, if the aliens can’t communicate or can’t breach that wall between them and humans - what is the point? how is it different from ants or dolphins or more unusual? them living somewhere else than earth also becomes even more irrelevant. it basically turns into asking if there is life beyond earth (a different question i think?) seems to me the whole point of it would be that they could potentially communicate with humans? similar to the belief in ghosts - the whole point of that belief is that we can perceive them with our feelings or that they can manifest themselves in the physical world. if not, then anything imaginable can exist and we remain completely unbothered, if there is no possibility of contact.
