I’m literally recovering from heart surgery right now and though I feel her reaction is ridiculous, I’m not inside her mind and heart. I don’t know what it’s like to become that upset and livid over coffee. That kind of stuff doesn’t cause an emotional reaction for me. I think she has behavioral and mental health issues. I’d rather deal with physical instead of mental illness, so her suffering is valid, in a sense. It isn’t about the coffee. The rage towards companies is a symptom of internal rage she’s suppressing over something much more. I’d have such a daily struggle dealing with that much distress sensitivity and I know she seems absurd, but maybe there’s more to it.

As a Starbucks employee, I can tell you that we make one batch of cold brew a night. That's all we can make, one batch fills 3 pitchers. On a release day, especially for a drink like our cold brew, you can expect that it will be sold out before. As it's actually written on our boards (at least in Canada) that cold brew is only while supplies last everyday. It's people like you that can't handle not having everything handed to them that make employees hate their jobs, and it's people like you that take away any patients we have. Because if I had to deal with you I wouldnt have been able to keep quite with a smile on my face. Sorry hun the world doesn't revolve around you. I think you need a good reality check, and take a second to think if this is really "rant" worthy or if your just acting like a greedy child. Wish you luck in future endeavors, and I wish even more luck to any retail employee that crosses paths with you, you need it most.

I dont think it's the fact they didn't have it, but the fact they were supposed to have it. The 1-800 number said they should have had it and it was on the app for her store, when it wasn't there. I have heart disease and just had my 7th open heart surgery and I’m only 25. I’ve never been as upset by that as you are about Starbucks. I’m sorry you anger so easily and I’m not saying you’re feelings are invalid, but it’s kind of frustrating to see someone that upset over a beverage, given what I’ve gone through. I know that extreme emotions are seemingly impossible to control, but I feel you could benefit from learning coping tools and distress tolerance. I go to a class called DBT and it really helps me put my feelings into perspective and calm my body down when I’m agitated. They have info online and could be worth checking out. Good luck!
