As someone who wants to put more time into content creation this year (I find the process of writing and producing video essays an art in and of itself), it's often difficult to remember why I do it when the returns can often be so diminishing. This video was a good reminder of that. On a slightly different note, the way you blocked out the fabric folds for that big coat on the bottom left was quite fun to watch.

@@askerror1987 I'm glad this video resonated with you 😊 It’s easy to get caught up in the grind and forget the joy that comes from the creative process itself. Keep pushing forward with your content creation! your voice and vision are important! ❤️

thank you for sharing your thoughts. I agree. I think so many people look at artists and think it's so easy, they just sit and paint all day. To be an artist you have to be a content creator, an editor, marketing, photographer, customer service rep, the list goes on. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one who has to face these challenges,

It’s always nice to know we’re not alone in facing these challenges ❤️ If you decide to share your art, you suddenly become more that just an artist, a whole mix of roles which can get overwhelming sometimes.

this is a topic I've thought about far more often lately and whilst I'm still in the pursuit, like you said, it has been a couple of years ❤❤

Yeah, and I’m now focused more a journey rather than a destination 😊

Thanks for the wise words and I really enjoy your illustrations. How do expect to experiment with your art? I'd love to see that on the channel.

I’m glad you enjoyed watching! ❤️ I’ll definitely experiment more as I’m going to take some drawing courses I’ve bought a year ago. I’ll share it all as a video ❤️
