Very interesting, this is the first time I hear about media kit. I had no idea that collaborating with a brand was that way. Ugh I prefer to buy the supply or go without it. 🤭I used to follow up a lady that was scammed by clicking the "brand" email. They stole her channel with millions of followers... she never got it back. Now she has a new one. Thank you for this new info! 💞

I love this video and your insights! I’ve also stopped accepting free collaborations, and honestly wish I’d stopped sooner as they often cost the creator more than they gain. As for emails etc. I never click on links, even if it is from what appears to be a known or reputable brand as that’s how quite a few KZbinrs had their account / KZbin/ details stolen - Emily Olsen shared her experience with this. I usually Google the supply rather than click on any links 😅 Thank you for sharing your insights! ❤

I had literally the EXACT SAME experience with ohuhu 😮 didn't have a media kit, made one, replied, replied again, ghosted 🥺 got the same email a few months later that led to a response and a collaboration, but it's crazy we had the same thing!

@@drawninthefog That's a good question, but it won't be easy for me to answer shortly or precisely (since it depends on many different factors and also I don't have experience yet). It's best not to tell them your price first, but ask them what their budget is and only after that suggest your price based on what you'll have to do for them.
