Mojang is so ridiculously silly sometimes. Everyone had too many diamonds because you only really need one or two sets of armor and tools... so to fix it they added the armor trim duplication recipe. But that takes _too many_ diamonds so now they're increasing the diamond generation in the next snapshot. Why not just decrease the number of diamonds required for the trim??? XD

This video got me thinking. How many combinations of armor, shield and tool is it possible to have in minecraft? So, I spent way too long doing math. There are 16 new armor trims, which can occur in 9 colors for each armor piece except for netherite, which has 10. Including all colors of dyed leather, that’s (16 x 9 x 21) + (16 x 10) = 3184, for each armor set, excluding turtle armor (which I’ll add in in a second). But we want to know the number of individual armor pieces. So boots are 3184, legs are 3184, chestplates are 3185 (+1 for the elytra) and helmets are 3344 (including turtle shell). So the number of combinations of armor alone is 1.0797465e+14. But what about with enchants? For helmets, there are 640000 possible combinations of enchants, making there potentially 2140160000 different helmets. For chestplates there are 80000 enchants and so there are 254720000 chestplates. For the elytra, there are 32 combinations so there are 32 possible elytra in game that can be worn, plus 32 broken elytra. For leggings there are 320000 enchantments, so 1018880000 different leggings. For boots there are 19200000 enchants so there are 61132800000 boots. This means that the total number of armor combinations comes out at 3.3955234e+37. Now for the shields. There are 16 shield enchant combinations, which sounds small, until you remember the existence of banner shields, of which there are c. 809 qd (according to the wiki), there are approximately 1.2944e+19 different shields, and 4.3951655e+56 combinations of shield and armor. The final step is adding the tools. My classification of tools is any item intended to be held in the main slot with a durability bar, so this is: Brush, Flint and steel, Shears, Hoe, Sword, Pickaxe, Shovel, axe, crossbow, trident, fishing rod and bow (please let me know if I missed any). 5 of these are tiered with 6 levels, so there are 37 different tools. Now for their enchants. The flint and steel has 16 enchants, as does the brush. The shears have 96 enchants, fishing rods have 256 and tridents have 3072. Crossbows have 640 and bows have 1152. Hoes have 768, axes have 165888, swords have 497664, pickaxes have 768 and shovels have 768. This means there are 4608 hoes, shovels and pickaxes, 995328 axes and 2985984 swords. I have an idea to for diamond farm.what you do is if a glitch is still up you can get massive amount of Emrelds if not use your raid farm. And get a black smith that sells diamond helmet or boots buy the armor and then smelt it for diamonds.Hope this some how helped
