My Ex-wife literally told me during our divorce that her work friends (all single mothers, most of whom were on welfare) helped her realize that she wasn't happy, that it was my fault, and that I "had to pay" for that. That was her sole basis for the divorce, and in the last 10 years, she's withheld my sons from me at every opportunity, pushed me through lies and gaslighting to the point that I blocked her a couple months ago, and completely ignored her parts of the court orders in the decree because she knows I can't afford a lawyer to take her back to court over it. Bright side, every time my boys see me, they RUN to me, give me hugs, and tell me how much they miss and love me.

The same rules of dating that I used as a bartender or the same rules I use today. I was a bartender like 20 years. Tell me these very simple tricks find out if she's a good girl or not. 1) never invite her to your house...never ever. You go out a few times and things get serious then she can come over. If it's not serious you do not want crazy people knowing where you live and where you keep your stuff. I unfortunately have made this mistake and a lot of things were broken in my apartment because of it. 2) check her medicine cabinet on the first night. Everybody's got a phone Google the medicine in her medicine cabinet. If anything is medication for bipolar depression or psychotropic drugs get the fuck out of her house and run. Again I have made mistakes were dating crazy people was fun but at the end of the day you get to run the risk of getting physically injured or hit by a car / baseball bat. Don't fuc crazy people. 3) no matter how many dates you go on do not ever spend more than $50 on that girl. Serious money is for serious women. If she's just having fun then a slice of pizza a burger. Will be just fine. I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars on girls that were basically out for a very nice meal and that was it. There are far too many of those women out there these days you are not taking them out to dinner you are buying them dinner and they are going out with their friends and leaving you with the bill. 4) watch how she treats people. This one is a little harder to observe but when you are out on a date or getting coffee watch how she treats people around her. if she complains about the waiter or she complains about traffic or she just complains to complain. She is not a very pleasant person and will eventually be complaining about you. I have more advice but not a lot of time good luck men don't fall for their bullshit.

Went to a funeral yesterday for my wife's friend mother. After the funeral we went to eat. I noticed a couple of girls with little kids and some without. They were actually talking about dating and life after divorce. One of them was heavy into the hookup culture. I think she said she was 30 but she didn't have a kid. I was the classic nice guy, the more my wife pulled away the more I did. The more I did the more she pulled away. I tried for 15 years, going to marriage counseling alone, cleaning the house alone, maintaining the home alone…. You have no idea, literally zero, as to what she's going to be like in 5, 10, even 20 years time, that's the sad reality - and the minute they lose the feels, or succumb to all the extreme feminist stuff on ticktock, or decide they need to "find themselves again" or whatever - your "safe bet" changes in an instant. At that point you lose access to your family, at least half your financial assets, and potentially half of anything you make in the future ... You risk your mental health, possibly your life. Unless you have a crystal ball, or divorce laws change such that they aren't punitive to men - it's simply not possible for men to enter into marriage any more sadly, the risk is just too great. You *cannot* judge at point of marriage what that person will be like for the rest of their lives - it's just impossible - and when the risk is SO high, should it all go wrong - the combination is just an impossible situation. I speak from experience, and I wish someone had taken me aside and explained this all to me 20 years ago. DO NOT GET MARRIED GENTS.

What I'm saying though is I've seen instances where there just aren't red flags, she appears to be a great girl and wife material .... Then her whole personality just changes ten years later - like the female mid life crisis. It's happened to a friend of mine - they were childhood sweethearts who married - she was fine, they were a great couple. After fifteen years she developed mental health issues, and is a changed person just not in any way pleasant to be around, very dark - she's now divorcing my friend and is accusing him of domestic abuse and has tried to get the authorities to limit his access to his three children - she's accused him of all sorts of things, and she's quite openly trying to take him for everything financially in the divorce also. It came out of nowhere. This is what I mean - yes certainly if there are red flags as you suggest with arguments - you walk, but even if there are none, the risk is simply too great for a man these days to enter into marriage - by all means have an LTR but marriage simply isn't tenable, with the laws as they are, unless you have a crystal ball. It's sad but i think that's where we are.

[ADVICE] MY-PHILOSOPHY: "INNER-STRENGTH" I have found that simply "loving myself" (inner-child) is a powerful tool against most types of social-dependency/vulnerability. Example: In my mind, I visualise a picture of my younger self (family albums might help). And I 'remember' what the emotion of genuine love felt like. And then I project those emotions onto the mental visualization of my younger self. I meditate and hold that 'state of mind' for as long as I can. The result? I feel my conscious energy resignating with positivity and renewed strength. And my anxiety immediately evaporates away. At the very least, depending on my levels of anxiety, this mediation practice aids to 'evaporate' much of it. You can do the same thing with "trying to 'remember' temperatures, e.g. hot or cold. And then project that memory onto a visualised heat source (all within your minds eye). You will 'feel' the effects immediately." I hope this proved helpful.
