With the new Solis, one tip I learned from BikiniBodhi is that you can see if the thing you're trying to scan is slowly moving up and down. If it is, it's an operator breathing. You can then do a free runout or floorbang without scanning them

I fucking love the new Solis because she now has an incredibly high skill ceiling with the gadget blindness of knowing what you're looking at just from how it acts. If it's moving, it's a drone. If it's under a window, it's a claymore. If it's above a doorway, it's an airjab. There's so many small tells that you get just by knowing what to look for, I find it so fun I don't even use the overclocks 99% of the time. If you're good enough, they're just giving the opponents information for no reason.

I try and stay off siege nowadays. Every few months, I sometimes play a couple matches. When I tried out Solis, every time I used the gadget nothing would happen. Idk if i didn’t understand how it worked, or if the people I was playing against just weren’t using gadgets. Either way, was not a fan. Miss old siege.

If you were in QM, then that is normal. Usually you see drones in the prep phase and then none during the round. I played her and had the same issue. Sometimes I’d catch someone using their gadget but they’d be outside or inaccessible.

I started R6 in the middle of deep freeze, solis was one of my first ops and I mained Solis for 117 rounds until I took a break for around 2 weeks in Deadly Omen, coming back to R6 in twin shells, I have the urge to play her but she's just so bad now it's not worth it, her gadget was nerfed way too hard, they should remove overclock, increase the range, that's all I want back, keep the inability to use it in prep phase and alerting observation tools that she spotted them.
