the fact that I felt joy just from the Deimos @ 5:45 just saying 'Alright' and went along with Macie's new plan definitely says something about the reality of Siege. both Solo Q and these videos are filled with so many stubborn players who never want to adjust their playstyle. it's always satisfying to find the exception and see the game prove its intentional design when your teammates come together and catch an easy win because of it.

One of my favourite moments in solo que was convincing a team to let me rush a plant inside vents on border I going sized the door had someone holding site window I rush in main door whilst firing metal / workshop door and the rotate then chuck on smoke then instantly plant whilst I ask one day to hold flank and had someone ready to hold run out / take very when the defenders rushed back to site Was very fun haha

I notice that macies videos have quite a few instances of him asking someone to do something and they almost instantly comply. I don't know if its cause of high ranks or they just know macie always cooks so they do whatever he suggests

The worst part of that last clip (and a lot of these) is that there's no contest. Got me in a Ram mindset, so I thought to myself, drop a ram on the defuse and then shotgun the hatch. And then you did it. I wasn't thinking about the angle you got though, that was an extra level, protecting you in case they realized what was happening and immediately dropped to hunt you. That same play in a closer round would have been so much cooler. But it only really mattered because you're the one that got the kill. They let you onto site with your team still alive and with a full timer, your team steamrolled most of them already. And that kill you got? He was dead anyway. Very little chance he gets away with a 3v1 with time to defuse. I always appreciate your playstyle, but man it sucks that the enemies are robbing us of more interesting interactions and quick thinking.

Interesting you say that because I was thinking the same thing. It's great seeing him play with utility, but if the other team is all just doing team deathmatch it takes away from it. It would be nicer to see it used against a buttoned up defence. Not sure what is different in this one. It didn't feel as much like it in previous videos.

If you check them, you'll see that these quick reactions and lucky wallbangs happen once in a while, and he gets caught off guard quite often. The videos are highlights from weeks worth of content. Don't get me wrong, I love watching him play, but when I found out his channel, I had the impression dude was clutching rounds nonstop. Then I watched him live, and half the time he's the first one on the ground. That there are days that Macie doesn't win a single match. And that's okay, he's just a real player like you and me. edit: typo
