I lost my grandfather unexpectedly in November, definitely a hard thing to get over. My grandfather had a massive heart attack and passed away and it was horrible. It's good to know that he didn't suffer as much, since it wasn't a drawn out thing. Thinking of you and your family

I listened to this song for the first time the night I heard my grandpa passed away. He was my best friend and I still grieve over him when he passed a week before my birthday in February. It hit me really hard, the worst anything has ever hit me. It's still really hard to look down at his house and not want to go visit him but knowing that he's not living there anymore, just hurts so much. Today marks 10 years since my dad passed away from cancer. Usually I’m fine but then sometimes I just think about how much of my life he has missed out on and how much more he will be missing. I’m applying for colleges at the moment and it sucks knowing that he’s not going to be there for my high school graduation in a few months, even more so when I remember how he was a teacher and how much he emphasized education in my childhood. don't worry i didn't get to see my grandad before he passed away because he passed away at 21:00 on Thursday 11 October 2018 and i didn't find out until Friday 12th because my parents didn't want me to be upset and at least i had the weekend so i didn't have to face anyone but i'm still not over him even though people tell me to get over it and i said i cant because he was my everything

My favorite teacher died today from cancer. Instantly I thought of this song because he was gone for a year doing treatment but finally, there was nothing else they could do to stop the cancer from spreading. He's in a better place now and I know every student that knew him and were close with him are hurting right now. I'm hurting. His family's hurting. He was strong kicking cancers butt! But it was his time to go sadly.
