I traveled for awhile for work, I still do. At my job there is lots of downtime where you arent doing anything. So i play on my PSP, but also have a tablet that emulates PS2. I have a unmodded Vita, but it got stick drift and when I moved it was seemingly lost. Funny enough my last two PSPs didnt survive the abuse of my young childhood and middle school. When the PS Vita came out I heard about it second hand and was thoroughly shocked about the idea of a PS3 level handheld coming out. I still have a few UMDs, like Van Helsing, Karate Kid, Battlefront II, Ace Combat Also for awhile before Mad Catz went under, they were making exclusive PSP travel bags. One which I have had for the last 13 years. It still functions but only was used for UMD storage or storage for my PSP when not in use.

Any video file you have can be converted to work on a PSP. Use a video conversion application like Handbreak, or simply search "convert video files for PSP" and you'll find website that do it for you. In short the PSP supports MP4 video in the resolution 480x272. However if you decide to use Handbreak there's a few things that may cause the file to appear as unsupported, so I'd recommend watching this video first. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWfHmX6CepiWmqc After that just plop your supported video file in the VIDEO folder on your PSP.

I have a soft modded PSP 3000 I’m very new to this an can’t figure out how to download games an that is there certain programs I need to change file types or something

If it is modded (which you can check by going to system settings - system information and looking at the system software) you can plug the PSP into any computer with a mini USB cable. It should show up like any other external drive on your computer. There you can see every folder on the PSP. When you download or obtain a PSP game's rom it'll most likely be a .iso file. All you have to do is put these in the iso folder that should already be on your PSP if it is modded. Some games will actually give you an eboot file, which loads like a normal PSP game. This you'll need to put the entire game folder in the GAME folder on your PSP. There's a couple KZbin tutorials on this if you get lost.

do you use a mac to mod the psp.? if so thats how you have the corrupted data icon. i had the same problem. you need to to tell the mac to show hidden files when you have the sd card in it.. may work in win 10.

🤔🤔I am pretty confident in doing a lot myself. BUT where did you get the anime theme ? I don’t think I’ve seen that before And is that an operating software over 6.61 ? I’m new to this. I been stocking up on information so I’m about to start my own quest to get this going.
