I had a friend in middle school that would take his PSP to school and show off haha. He was playing Vice city stories while our teacher was giving a lecture, the teacher noticed and took his psp for the day. Buddy had tears in his eyes haha

Coming from the gba to psp was insane, it’s sad we don’t get such huge graphical leaps like that anymore. God of war on psp is hella fun

One thing I do like about the 1K is that it has a Matte Finish on the back. Only the PSP Street (E-1K) also has a matte back. Also worth mentioning that the screen of the 3K has an interlaced screen which can be polarizing depending on which one you want. Lastly you can find some UMDs with aftermarket shells. Shouldn’t matter much.

Yeah the matte finish is pretty nice on the 1000. I’ve never seen a psp street in person though I don’t think they released in North America

Dope video as always man. This will definitely help out some people that aren’t well versed with the PSP and are thinking about picking one up. I have 2 PSP’s, 3 Go’s, and 2 Vitas…..none of them are modded haha. Been contemplating modding one of my Go’s. You could surprisingly still download games straight to any PSP, you just have to deactivate your wifi security settings so you could log on. I guess the PSP isn’t compatible for modern wifi security settings. I thought the Go was a joke back in the day, but it’s small and sleek form factor is mindblowing for me haha. Edit: What’s your favorite PSP model? Sorry if I missed that in one of your vids.

Thanks dude! Dang you have 4 Go’s that’s awesome, what colors do you have? Definitely worth modding one of them man especially since you have a few of them. The psp 3000 is definitely my favorite it has such a timeless design and I love the aesthetic of the psp too.

@@FranchisePlayyer Of course man. I have 2 white mint Go’s and 1 black one. The black one is the one I mostly use. Sounds lame, but I’m hesitant on using the whites since they look so nice haha. I’m gonna have to pick up a 3000 sometime (just have a Japanese black 1000 & a white darth vader 2000). One bad thing I’ve heard about them are the scan lines on the screen, but I doubt it looks bad. Guess I should mod one then.

The darth Vader one is so sick. But yeah I feel you on not wanting use the nicer looking systems I hardly ever touch my 3000 just because it looks nice lol. Where did you buy your Go’s at?

@@FranchisePlayyer Totally man and that blue madden psp of yours looks sick too. I got my GOs from ebay, mercari, and offer up. The white ones are more expensive for some reason and of course depends on the condition as well.

I just got a PSP 2000 for 50 Canadian. it also came with 6 games and a movie, 2 memory cards (1 gigabyte and 8 gigabyte), and a case.

Thank you bro! One thing to keep in mind is that you might need to replace the battery (luckily those are cheap). I would recommend getting one from eBay

I love PSP I got a 2000 for free. I wish I had a PSP go though because it has Bluetooth so you can use Daulshock 3 and can display PS1 games to a CRT at 240p.

Im biased but My 3 favorite psps are the black 1000, silver 2000 and Hannah Montana purple 3000. My first psp was the 2000 silver so I ant to get one if I see it at a yard sale or something.
