If laundromats are such a great business to be in, then why are there so many up for sale
@pokemontrainer342 күн бұрын
there could be a lot of reasons. Owners are getting old and want to cash out. Someone took over and ran it into the ground, common with owners that pass it on to their children and they just let it go to shit. Some find a good deal on something and want to cash out to move on to other ventures. Hell it could even be debt from a gambling habit or nose powder. I'm sure you know it's better to have a few roofs in an area than just one. and this might just work for commercial too. that taco bell owner. ask them if they know any other franchise owners that would need a new roof. look into getting solar roof installation certified (by solar companies) so that could be an option.

I OWN a roofing company and previously worked for a roofing company that was owned by an ex corporate America guy who bought a franchise. (0 industry knowledge) His business was great when he had his general manager taking care of everything and only doing residential, but as soon as we got a 2m commercial project, everything went down hill fast. Commercial pays much slower and sometimes not at all. If you are attempting to run this as a vacant owner passive business you will lose everything you have. If it was a residential roofing company you would be fine and figure it out before the whole thing exploded in your face. But you could sign one job tomorrow for 5m that will make you lose absolutely everything. I wish you the absolute best but this is a business that requires 100% of your time and attention. Or a guy who understands the business who is getting compensated at around 10% of the gross profit of the business. Please be safe, all of your employees you trust can leave tomorrow and work for someone else. There were 8 guys working for this company and in the course of 6 months 6 of us left. 2 started there own business 2 got jobs and the other 2 left the construction industry.

Man you got suckered big time if it was branded and doing good it wouldnt be for sale most busy stations would cost you over a million plus to buy also your going to need to brand it if you expect to get fuel delivered to the station . the carwash id take a real good look at the pumps hoses brushes and id check your water storage tank it might need to be pumped . the fuel pumps will need to pass gouverment inspection and remember now your also dealing with the epa . before you bought this place did it ever cross your mind to find out why its closed why its for sale there has to be really valid reasons . the money your going to spend renovating this station just to meet city state and epa standards will hit the pocket book . sourcing your fuel is even going to be very pricey and your insurance oh man sticker shock coming . the best thing for this place is demolition decontamination then resell the empty land thats worth more then the buildings . any chance youd hire canadians also i might be mistaken but i think your required to have theoretical hours in a class room before your on the job training and also arent you required to have a health and safety card to even be able to work on a union site .

That gas station with the pizza shop would pop off. Just a factoid, the biggest growing franchise pizza is Hunt's pizza. Instead of the traditional shops, they franchise out to gas stations. The catch is the gas station can ONLY get pizza stuff from them. It is now a billion dollar business with hundreds of location :0
@guytech73103 күн бұрын
That would be a business model: Set up a food supplier for gas stations that competes with Hunt. get a contract with a company that makes frozen pizza, & then establish a distribution to gas stations. Probably a Breakfast & donuts shop for the morning rush, than pizza & tacos for lunch. I would think Tacos or food wraps would would better since you can eat & drive, where as Pizza its a lot harder to eat & drive.

Yeah I'm pretty well aware of Hunt's model and it is truly brilliant so many people get wrapped up in creating the newest greatest thing ever that they forget about the logistics of making something good enough at a price point that makes sense and easily accessible of course it doesn't hurt too bad that the gas station Pizza ain't bad at all
@InvestmentJoy3 күн бұрын
Yeah honestly that's a phenomenal business idea

Let’s be honest: without KZbin income would you really be able to live off all your “ventures?” To me this seems like degenerate gambling to create social media income primarily which I say: good for you. But after watching you since the beginning and doing simple math it seems more like gambling (specially without having any experience whatsoever in the field) rather than smart investment. In other words, for others out there without any significant KZbin income and that want’s to recreate this…YOU WILL FAIL MISERABLY. Thoughts? Btw, not a “hater” just saying from another perspective.

This year youtube will be about a $50k loss, last year was about break even.

How is it at a loss? What did you spend your money that it went negative and why keep doing it then?
@right_around_the_corner2 күн бұрын
Why do you keep using that overpriced and overrated word "union". 😅
@InvestmentJoy2 күн бұрын
Am I overpriced? If I consistently win open market bids, what's the issue?
@flatline2uКүн бұрын
Honestly it depends on the union. In many skilled trades the union is a good pipeline for trained workers. That would seem to be the case here. Furthermore as a contractor doing commercial work being a union shop can be a requirement for bidding on certain jobs.
