i absolutely love the simple hook and plastic setups. it seems like people have gone crazy trying to reinvent the wheel with all kinds of contraptions, but i always have the best luck with the simpler tackle.

Another interesting video, it’s also interesting that you were using what looked like a clear bait, but the fish wanted it in the lower light conditions which should have made it hard for them to see, but could feel it in the water! Glad that your instincts kept you making casts and it paid off!

It just looks cool 😎

Hi. Angler Waki. Thank you for an another great clip about UL fishing. Looks a little bit like a Spine rig "turn around" And, by the way, your recording performance ist increasing sharply. Greetings from Europe and merry christmas an a happy new year. Gerhard

I have used them, especialy in september, low water, hard pressure with the weightless + DIY guard, it works great on pressurized bass on a slow pull - pause. You can wake them, their soft paddle make the job even in muddy water. But no jerk or twitch like you made

@RafalLuberackiАй бұрын
are you using mono for this technique? or is it braid?
@AnglerWakiАй бұрын
Nanofil. It’s like a braided.

@@AnglerWakivery nice, that's what I use on most of my light and ultralight spinning reels... I only use spinning reels because my left arm is paralyzed and haven't really figured out a good way to reel a baitcast with one hand. Mainly because baitcast reels usually have the handles with 2 grips/knobs, and the one knob on the reeling handles of spinning reels being a little longer from the center (compared to the 2 knobs on baitcasters) give me a lot more leverage. Basically I firmly press the knob into the right side of my stomach area and rotate the entire rod and reel in the circular motion which is kind of the opposite of a person with 2 hands or the way I reeled before my arm was paralyzed. So, instead of the rod & reel being held in the same spot and the knob & handle being reeled in a circular motion I have the knob & handle being held in the same spot and the rod and reel being moved/reeled in the circular motion. I certainly can't reel and work the lure is good as when my arm wasn't paralyzed but it gets the job done 😂🤣. It only becomes a problem when I'm fishing and catching big snook & tarpon! Fighting those while reeling makes my forearm & bicep get one heck of a workout and causes the muscles in my forearm and bicep to cramp up 😅😂 Anyway, thank you for this video! This looks like an excellent lure and I love the name of it: the Liar Minnow!!! As soon as I saw the name I liked it. Then when I saw you use it and work it, mixed with just how great it looks, I knew that I need to buy some of these. They look like they will be excellent for where I live - South Florida. They will be excellent for largemouth and peacock bass and I think they'll also be good for a lot of the snook fishing I do. Thank you very much! 🙏🏽

So the weed guard stays in place. No need to super glue it. Thanks. Great video.
@AnglerWakiАй бұрын
Super glue would be nice to have when we have tons of bites 😎
