I liked seeing more of your personality in this video. I love your videos, but I feel like in this one you showed more of yourself and who you are, even just with the random noises you made as you were organizing your books. It made me feel more like I could relate to you because we all do random and weird things and I laughed when you were singing and speaking with different accents because it's something I do too. Thanks for showing that side of yourself in this video. 😊

I have moved a lot in the last decade and as a result the physical books that have followed me have dwindled significantly. But just recently started cataloguing what I have, what I want to buy, and wish to read in order to figure out what's what and build up my collection again. So far, my physical library stands at 40 ish books with a whole tough box waiting to be sorted 😬. And my TBR regardless if I own them in whatever format or not is in the 300-400 mark. My physical TBR (so far) is sitting at 20 ish books but definitely will go up once I finish sorting what I have.

I have seven bookshelves in my apartment: middle grade/graphic novels, a favorites shelf, a history and classics shelf, a long series shelf for books like Percy Jackson, a tbr shelf, and the other two have my YA and adult romances and fantasies!

I have 40 books on my TBR shelf, which is the result of several years' concerted effort to reduce the number (and currently a book buying ban). I think I'd like it to be around 20 before I added anything new.

That is an impressive TBR. Mine is definitely less than 100, but more than 50; I refuse to count them for my own sanity XD My shelves are organized mostly by genre, so topmost shelves are my favorite books, then mysteries/crime, then fantasy leading on down into romance and then literary fiction/classics/graphic novels/comics, all mixed on the last one.

If I may make a suggestion, The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson and The Book Eaters by Sunyi Dean should definitely move up on your tbr list for this spooky szn! They’re both (imo) fantastic and perfectly atmospheric for fall. Also I certainly am not judging you on the amount of unread books you have because I think that’s a very common problem among us (myself included…) LASTLY I think we need a hard-launch of your boyfriend at this point…..
