Kinda wish a swing has its sweet spot in the middle where it does more damage, so that while acel/drags would still work, since the speed of the swing is not optimum at the start / end, they would do less damage and kinda makes a bellcurve in terms of damage, but whatever, the cat's out of the bag and the game's been out far too long for drastic change on mechanic everyone has accepted / used to.

After this video, I had decided I shall be an assassin. Soon enough my V.I.P. got removed from stouty's twitch and it spiraled to me leaving morhau for almost a year.

I just want them to mix up the parry or something to change the tapping back and forth between players. I do love the parry aspect but when you get good players it's just a battle of stamina. If you got the 1st hit then likely you'll win it but it should be types of parries. For example, you could have full parry and stop/partial parry. Full would be like now and allow that window to reposte and the stop/partial parry would either take more stamina than the alternative or give the enemy a very small window to reposte. Could also make 4 parry directions up, down, left, and right. I know I'll get hate but that repetitive "parry, reposte, rinse and repeat" isn't very exciting. This game is by far better but for honor do so things right such as combos not being just left/right or up/down.

It's called a "jpeg". Basically there are 2 parries, left and right. Try parrying left and right and you will see the difference. When you riposte, the direction of your parry will affect the animation. To do a "jpeg" you block the opposite side of your swing (example: block left swing right), the other is called a "wristy twisty", to do that you block the same side as your swing. Jpegs are called that because as you said it's like a static image rather than an animation and they're generally better for accels. Wristy twisties are a much more exaggerated, longer animation and can look very confusing. They're overall better for drags but you can do accels off them too, such as the "sucker punch".
