I like how almost all melee games have this thing that it's a lot easier to do some unreadable attack than actually being able to counter them, and how we have this toxicility because of it. There are millions of ways to tell the opponent that he plays wrong no matter if he's losing to you or winning. You're a chamberbot, feintspammer, accel monkey, dragg abuser, you gamble, use wrong weapon, abuse light armor speed etc

I haven't played mordhau in a while so it's also entirely possible crush made more braindead balance changes that I don't know about, but at least when I played chambering was a pretty consistent strategy to beat people actually feint spamming.

@@TheArnoldification first, apologies for writing so much. Second, yes I was hoping you would say this. So if I feint spam, then u chamber bot me, now I make a very minimal effort to take advantage of your chamber crutch by either acceling (instead of feint) so you lose on Stam or dragging around your chamber, forcing you to chftp. I'm not saying you're wrong, chambering is definitely useful for punishing feint, but it's a trap since it's so easy to heavily lean on. The only "real" way to combat feint spam is to play a lot and become very accustomed to wind-up animations so that you can just read the feint rather than habitually gamble a chamber attempt. Strike was already stuck in the "stouty is feint spammer trash" mindset, so, as you can see, tried chambering him to death. Stouty knows this and takes advantage of it, slaughtering him as a result. Obviously there's more to it, I just saying chamber all feints is an easy crutch to get stuck on and most people do for a few hundred hours. It just gonna keep you from learning to read properly
