I was Catholic when I reached the age 16 I was brought to Christianity since this I have walked away this past couple years, I am 38 now I have been struggling with appreciating what the lord has blessed me with through the years the reason I'm struggling, is because in the couple year I have lost my dad to cancer, my grandma this past year of old age and cancer, now since April of this I was diagnosed with cancer as well, had my operation, to remove my kidney, this past month my cancer has came back more aggressively than before I listen to this song with an open heart and tears in my eyes I'm trying to get to him, however something is holding me back not asking for anything from anyone, I needed to vent thank you

Its very hard to focus on the positive when the negative is towering over you but the power of prayer scriptures can remove the feeling of distance from God.
